Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant made another great start to the 2021/22 season, leading the team to a 5-3 record. While it won't be easy to adjust without Kyrie Irving, Durant's stats will certainly allow him to advance to the Finals in 2022.

In Saturday's win over the Detroit Pistons, Durant scored 29 points and more than 20 in his first nine games, making Nets history.

Kevin Durant was the brooklyn Nets' first player to score 20+ in the first nine games of the season.

Durant currently averages 28.3 points per game, making him the league's second-highest scorer.

Frankly, the Nets have never had a superstar like Durant before. I mean, there are some really good players playing for the team, but Durant is at another level.

In Friday's game, Durant also grabbed 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Harden, meanwhile, scored just 13 points, but he also had 10 rebounds and 10 corners in that win.

Durant doesn't care too much about such a record, but it does show how special he is.
