But in the eyes of Dirishati Mutalifu, a police officer at the Xihe Street Police Station of the Tianshan Branch of the Urumqi Municipal Public Security Bureau, and his comrades-in-arms, this place has a different meaning.
Six years ago, Dirichati, who was still a special police officer, and his comrades-in-arms fought here against the violent terrorists in the "9.18" terrorist attack in Baicheng.

Huge temperature difference, rain, snow and hail, Dirichati recalled, when he and his comrades squatted in one place for seven or eight days, and the continuous mountain search continued to consume the physical strength of the police.
