Children love the toys in their hands and are afraid of adults grabbing them. Where do children know that adults do not play with toys, of course, they will not grab toys with him. Where do the children who worship power and chase after wealth understand Washington's tao and heart?

It's "transcendence", not "side-by-side"

Over the years, Chinese economists have repeatedly discussed the phenomenon of "short-term behavior" in China's economic activities, and they have deeply resented it. In October 1689, The English promulgated the Bill of Rights, and the actual power was transferred to the hands of parliament, which not only had the power to make laws, but also supervised the government and decided on major economic policies, thus establishing the principle that parliament was superior to the king's power and the judiciary was independent of the royal power, laying the foundation of the "constitutional monarchy".

Some history textbooks call it "monarchy by the wayside." The hidden value behind making such a judgment is: power. Everything is measured by power, power is the king, and no power is "the king's power is bypassed."

But there is another judgment or view: this is actually the "transcendence" of the traditional monarchy, so it is "transcendence" rather than "side-falling", which is a more correct way to observe this event. The hidden value behind making such a judgment is: life. It is more meaningful that all existences that are dependent on life, beneficial to sentient beings, and beneficial to their own life are more meaningful.

The reason why the "Glorious Revolution" is called the "Glorious Revolution" is because it did not shed a drop of blood, but achieved the transformation of the great era; the constitutional monarchy, which also did not shed a drop of blood, but achieved a rebalancing of power, which in turn enabled the British state and society to achieve stability, openness and development for nearly 400 years.

What I want to say is that there is a way and a road, and it is difficult for people without a way to have the right way of thinking and a big pattern, so in the end, it is the "way" that determines whether a person, an enterprise, or even a larger category has a way out and whether there is a good ending.

What is the difference between the "Tao" and the "Way"? Chinese culture believes that the "Tao" is the first of the "Road", that is, the Tao is the source of the Road; at the same time, the "Tao" and the "Heaven" are inseparable, the Tao is determined by Heaven, and the so-called "Heavenly Dao" is also. Dong Zhongshu once said, "The greatness of the Tao originates from heaven; the heavens do not change, and the Tao does not change ("Measures for Raising The Virtuous").

Hebrew-Christian culture has similar and further interpretations. Man's path, which looks broad, often leads to hell in the end; the way of heaven, which looks narrow, eventually leads to heaven. The conclusion is that there is a road, and there is no road, and there is no road. This is true of the way of commerce, and it is also true of the way of commerce! If people want to understand, they must not be discerned.
