Huang Yiwen's father, Huang Jun, is a well-known "Tsim Yiwen Tiger in the East Tiger" in Hong Kong, who was active in the Tsim Sha Tsim Sha Dong area in the 1980s and 1990s. In 1992, Huang Jun was wanted by the Hong Kong police for suspected drug trafficking and money laundering, and absconded to Thailand to take shelter. In 1995, Huang Jun died in a car accident on his way from Pattaya to Bangkok at the age of 39.
