Li Meng, vice chairman of the Tenth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, went to Luoyang for an inspection

From 9 to 12 July, Li Meng, vice chairman of the Tenth National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and his party visited Luoyang. Luoyang's profound historical and cultural accumulation, livable urban and rural environment, and booming peony industry left a deep impression on Li Meng and his party.

Gao Tijian, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, vice chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Peasants' and Workers' Party; Di Sen, director of the Social Poverty Alleviation Work Committee of the Association for the Promotion of Research and Development in Western China; Qian Wei, deputy secretary general of the Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; and Hua Yawei, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and full-time vice chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of the Peasants' and Workers' Party, came to Luoluo together.

Municipal leaders Chen Xuefeng, Bao Changyong, Liu Ying'an, Yang Tingjun, Xie Liufeng, Lei Xueqin, etc. participated in relevant activities.

During their stay in Luo, Li Meng and his party successively visited the Sui and Tang Dynasties Luoyang City National Heritage Park Paradise Mingtang Scenic Area, the Zhou Wangcheng Tianzi Driving Six Museum, the Yellow River Xiaolangdi Water Conservancy Hub Project, and the Mengjin Pingle Peony Painting Cultural and Creative Industry Park to inspect the development of the city's cultural tourism industry. Li Meng and his party also focused on the investigation of the medical and health development of Luoning County, and hoped that Luoning County could become a pilot county (city) for social poverty alleviation and innovation cooperation in the country and receive financial support.

On the morning of April 12, Li Meng and his party went to Luoning County People's Hospital to inspect the operation of the hospital, and walked into the CT examination room, radiology department, operating room, etc., to communicate with medical staff. When learning that some of the hospital's medical equipment is relatively old, Li Meng pointed out that the full use and timely updating of medical equipment is a strong guarantee for the health of the masses, and the investment in this regard should be increased. In Luoning County Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Li Meng and his party listened to the report on the development of the hospital, and went to the laboratory, operating room, internal medicine, pharmacy and other places of the hospital to understand the situation, hoping that the hospital would continue to do a good job in the training of medical technical personnel.

During his inspection in Luoning, Li Meng also held a discussion with the heads of local medical institutions to learn more about the bottlenecks and difficulties in the development of medical and health care in the county. He hoped that Luoning County could become a pilot county (city) for social poverty alleviation and innovation cooperation in the country, and receive financial support in the construction of medical and health infrastructure, medical equipment renewal, and medical technology talent training, so as to benefit the people of Luoning.

The National Social Poverty Alleviation Innovation Collaboration Project is a poverty alleviation project jointly initiated by the Social Poverty Alleviation Innovation Collaboration Office, the Western China Research and Development Promotion Association and the Social Poverty Alleviation Innovation Demonstration Base, and serves the development of poor areas. The project selects 80 pilot counties (cities) in 17 provinces across the country, taking the introduction of counties into Beijing, innovative investment attraction, information assistance, medical and health assistance, cultural tourism assistance, and scientific and technological assistance as the leader to assist in promoting the economic and social development of the pilot areas.
