James Sakara, pastor of a Christian church in chidiza, Zambia, asked to be buried alive so that he could be found dead after being resurrected like Jesus within three days.
James Saqqara, 22, is a respected local pastor who has long believed that devotion to the church will give him the same power to die and rise again like Jesus.
He declared to church members that he would be resurrected three days after death, like the Son of God. So he asked three members of the church to dig a shallow grave for him, tie up his hands, and bury him alive.
Three days later, Saqqara was not resurrected, and the members of the church stared at the motionless Saqqara, wondering why their leader had not fulfilled his promise.
