After visiting Qingyan Ancient Town on September 28th, in the evening we rushed to Xiayun Town Accommodation in Pingba District, Anshun City, the next morning from Xiayun Town to Huangguoshu, after driving for more than an hour, we saw that there was a road sign next to the road, there was an old state ancient town nearby, 16 kilometers away, we decided to take more than 30 kilometers round trip to see this old state ancient town.
The 16-kilometer road is still easy to walk, and the scenic spot does not charge tickets, only 10 yuan for parking fees. This old town of Jiuzhou was once the seat of administration of Anshun Province in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, but the scale and number of ancient buildings and monuments that can still be seen now are very small, and it feels that the ancient town of Jiuzhou has two biggest characteristics:
One is that their houses are made of a kind of material, thin stone pieces for building houses, and they asked the local residents, who said that there are many such materials in their vicinity, which are thicker and wider than tiles, and are stronger and more waterproof to make tiles of stone.
Second, the ancient town uses the slope naturally formed by the street to attract a stream from a distance, and the stream flows from the highest point of the street to the lower end of the street, and the stream flowing through the street is very clear.
