Bai Ma Yangjin is the president of the Tibet Autonomous Region Mother and Child Health Care Association. In 2010, she and two colleagues co-founded the Mother and Child Health Care Association, which has been going deep into the grassroots of remote agricultural and pastoral areas in Tibet all year round, and strives to solve the difficulties and needs of the masses in medical and health care. From 2017 to 2019, she led the association to hold a total of 28 village doctor training sessions, with a total of 1541 rural doctors participating in the training, of which more than 50% were from remote agricultural and pastoral areas. After the training, the village doctors were distributed in 74 counties, 683 townships and 2,000 villages in the Tibet Autonomous Region, and more than 2,300 babies were successfully delivered, effectively reducing the local maternal and infant mortality rate. At the same time, 15 sessions of community (grassroots) health education publicity and free clinic activities in the countryside were carried out, benefiting more than 30,000 people. She also introduced "Huiyu China Early Childhood Education" to 4 townships in Nimu County, Tibet, and through the weekly home visits of 80 home visitors and supervisors, a total of 620 children participated, taking the lead in promoting the cause of early childhood education in the local area.
