The two great literati of the Song and Ming Dynasties left two wonderful poems in Maimei Village, making Lingao, a thousand-year-old village in the corner, famous inside and outside the island!
More than 800 years ago, a famous anti-Jin courtier who degraded the Jiyang Army (present-day Sanya City) and was flesh and blood, went south along the ancient yi road from the capital city of Qiongzhou to the village of Lingao Meichao.
This degraded official was hu quan (1102-1180), a politician and writer of the Southern Song Dynasty, who was killed and degraded by the traitor Qin Ju in the eighteenth year of the Southern Song Dynasty (1148) for resisting jin.
The ancient Yidao Road, that is, the official road, like today's national highway, runs from the east and west of qiongzhou fuzhifu town to Yazhou, and to the west of Meichao Village in Lingao County, located on the edge of the yidao, which is a necessary place for the north-south smooth passage in western Hainan.
When Hu Quan rested in Lincun, the name of the village was "Meichao", and the Lingao dialect was pronounced "Buy Sorrow". Just arrived at the "buy sorrow" village, Hu Quan was instantly touched by the scene, at this time it has been a year since the predecessor Zhao Ding fell to Yazhou to go on hunger strike, because Wenxi County is Zhao Ding's hometown, the two are both anti-Jin celebrities, the same as the "fallen people of the end of the world"; the frustration of the official field, the hardships of the road, let Hu Quan's sad heart suddenly feel hot and rolling.
A casual poem:
"In the north, I went to Siwenxi County, and in the south, I was afraid to enter the village of Buying Sorrows." The road is only a thousand miles, and the wild grass and smoke are breaking the soul."
This poem was later recorded in the "Hu Quan Anthology", which is the famous poem "Lingao Mai Sorrow Village Mouth Zhan".
The poem reveals Hu Gong's heart traces, "buying sorrow" is the current situation, the poem is born from the heart; and what is the way to the end of the world, Hu Gong's heart is related to the situation like wild grass and smoke today.
Since then, this secluded ancient village, Meichao, has inadvertently been famous inside and outside the island with the poem "Buy Sorrow Village".
Since then, Lingao Meichao Village is also called Mai Gao Village, and Buy Meo Village has also given Lingao an extra cultural symbol, and now it has become a famous local ancient village.
Meichao Village is located in Lingao Huangtong Town, thirty miles southeast of the county capital.

On the side of the ancient road, the shade of greenery, the village old woman, three or five groups, na yin and cool, there are talk and laughter, comfortable and peaceful.
Walking in it, the thoughts are endless, and the ancient feelings of the ancients emerge.
Dai Cemetery is located in the middle of the village, and a cement country road crosses it.
The tomb was built in the first year of Song Ningzong, and the tomb of Song Juren, which has been more than 800 years old, has become a cultural relics protection unit of Lingao County, adding cultural monuments to Meichao Village and being admired by people.
During Hu Quan's stay at Lingao, Dai Dingshi worshipped him as a teacher. Dai Gong self-described, the scientific examination was lifted, and the teacher Hu Quan pointed out. After his death, he was designated to be buried at the side of the ancient post road of MaiMei Village, the first stop of Hu Quan's step on Lingao.

In addition to Hu Quan, more than 400 years later, in the Ming Dynasty, the famous literary scholar and opera composer Tang Xianzu also visited maimei village and left a wonderful poem.
Tang Xianzu (1550-1616), a jinshi in the eleventh year of the Ming Wanli Calendar (1583), a native of Linchuan, Jiangxi; in the nineteenth year of the Wanli Calendar (1591), he was demoted to xuwendian history.
Xu Wen and Hainan across the sea, leisure time, Tang Xianzu crossed the sea to Ding'an to visit the former "boss" Wang Hongjie, had the opportunity to pass by the village of Mai, leaving a poem "Xu Wen sent yueke Lingao, sending home Lei Shui two absolute":

Buy worry village is Mochou village.
"Buying a village is a village of Mochou", the poet has a relaxed state of mind, obviously visiting Qiongzhou with a playful mentality, compared with the sage Hu Quan, the mood is poor, naturally clear.
Nowadays, the ancient village has adopted the name of Meichao, and countless tourists have accumulated amyloid circles of ecology and humanities, and have become a model of Lingao rural tourism.
The people who come are happy and the villagers are happy, time travels, and when Hu Quan returns to buy sorrowful villages, he will be happy with a quiet and peaceful society!
