The PGA Tour launched a player impact program this year to reward players who are wildly popular on social media. So even if he doesn't show up this year, his Google search volume is much ahead of Rory McIlroy and still qualifies for the top ten players who share the prize money. Along with him were Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson De Chambre, Richie Fowler, Justin Thomas, Brooks Copka, and Joan Ram.

Woods hasn't competed in any professional tournament since the 2020 Masters. The serious car accident left the 15-time Grand Slam champion with open fractures in both his tibia and fibula, meaning it may be difficult for him to return to the field in the future.

Last month, he did not appear in Wuthering Heights, still cheering for the U.S. team, and finally the U.S. team broke the record to win the Ryder Cup!
