On September 23, Huang Fang, secretary of the party group of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and Sun Minsheng, member of the party group and vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, led a team to Chitan Village, Jinzixian Town, Anren County, Chenzhou, to investigate and guide the creation of a provincial-level beautiful rural demonstration village in Chitan Village.
Huang Fang and his entourage inspected the proposed mass square in Chitan Village, the "Little Guilin" scenic spots under construction, the archways, bridges, and other projects that have been built, launched the "toilet revolution" in Chitan Village, and listened to the work reports of Liu Zhigang, head of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese in the village poverty alleviation task force, Dai Lingli, secretary of the town party committee, and cadres of the two committees of the village branch on the work of creating a "beautiful rural demonstration village in Hunan Province" in Chitan Village.
During the investigation, the Provincial Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Provincial Overseas Chinese Public Welfare Foundation said that they would fully support the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese to continue to do a good job in poverty alleviation, try their best to strive for and mobilize resources, promote the quality and efficiency of poverty alleviation, and play a role in creating a beautiful rural demonstration village in Hunan for Chitan Village. Zhuang Qining, vice chairman of the Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and president of the Provincial Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs, and Liu Chunying, chairman of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Charity Foundation, donated not less than 100,000 yuan to Chitan Village respectively. Liu Yong, executive vice president of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce and chairman of Hunan Furun Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd., donated 18 quilts to poor households in Chitan Village to send love and warmth.
Huang Fang fully affirmed the recent work of the task force and the village branch committees. She pointed out that it is necessary to deeply study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition on the strategy of rural revitalization, effectively improve the political position, and promote the development of Chitan Village towards the goal of beautiful countryside in accordance with the requirements of the provincial party committee and the municipal party committee.
