The "Twenty-second Year of Zuo Chuan Xianggong" records that Zi nan favored a subordinate named Guan Qi, while Guan Qi did not have a knighthood, but illegally occupied horses that could drive dozens of cars. At that time, the law of the Chu State stated that those who did not have a knight could only possess a wooden cart and a horse.

In 551 BC, because of this, Guan Qi was split up by Che, and Zi Nan was also executed by Xiong Zhao, the king of Chu Kang, and only served in the position of Ling Yin for two years.
