I am Tang Di, a history buff. Welcome everyone [attention] I, let's talk about the past and the present, and discuss the general trend of the world. Gentleman I, just to learn and make friends!

The so-called "green word", also known as the green chapter, is a Taoist festival that the Taoists dedicated to the gods when holding the fast, which is divided into three types: prose style, piao style and rhyme style, because it is written on the green vine paper with a zhu pen, so it is called green word. Most of the prose and verses in the style of prose are used to enlighten and summon the gods, and to perform the purpose of fasting.

Jiajing's Qingzi Zaixiang, in addition to Yan Song, had more than 20 people at most, and these 4 people were the most powerful by writing Qingzi

Most of the verses in the rhyming style are in the style of five words and seven words of poetry, and are mostly used for singing when walking virtually and around the altar. Since the Jiajing Emperor had already embraced Taoism, in order to be able to communicate with the gods and immortals in the heavens, he would write a green word every time he was fasting, and then respectfully burn it on the altar, thinking that he would be able to go up to heaven and listen.

The Qingzi used by the Jiajing Emperor in his initial fasting were written by Taoist monks. Due to the limited cultural level of the Taoists, the qingzi written lacked literary color, which made the Jiajing Emperor dissatisfied. In November of the tenth year of Jiajing, when the Jiajing Emperor set up a prayer in the palace, Gu Dingchen, the right attendant of the Ceremonial Department, presented the seven chapters of the "Step False Words" and listed the matters that should be paid attention to in the altar, especially pointing out that the green words played on the seventh day of the jai were particularly important.

The Jiajing Emperor was deeply pleased with Gu Dingchen's suggestion, and youzhao replied in response to his proposal. Gu Dingchen also gained the trust of the Jiajing Emperor, and soon promoted him to the post of Zuo Shilang (左侍郎) of the Bureaucracy and the head of the Zhan ShiFu (詹事府), and then entered the Libu Shangshu (尚書) and still in charge of the affairs of the palace, "In August of the seventeenth year, he was admitted to the aircraft service as a scholar of the Main Palace and WenyuanGe University. Immediately, Shao Bao and Prince Taifu entered the Wuying Hall. "Later generations" the word chen with the green word to conclude the master's knowledge, by the Dingchen advocate also. This opened the beginning of the writing of green words by the lyricists for more than 30 years.

After Jiajing reached middle age, Sejong specialized in the burning of repairs, and the cabinet assistants, the ninth secretary of the imperial court, and the scholars of the Hanlin Academy all made offerings to Qingzi and writing Xuanwen for the emperor, "The worker is promoted to the throne, and he dies until he enters the cabinet." "After the Jiajing Emperor moved to Xi'nei, he set up a Zhilu in Xiyuan, and appointed several attendant ministers to be on duty in the Wuyi Hall, sleeping in the Zhilu at night, and were not allowed to go home at will, in case the emperor was on call when he wanted to write a green word.

For the courtiers at that time, being able to enter the Zhiwuyi Hall was a special kind of honor and glory, and in the second half of Jiajing, there were more than 20 Wenwu Xunchen who successively entered the Zhizhi, including:

Jiajing's Qingzi Zaixiang, in addition to Yan Song, had more than 20 people at most, and these 4 people were the most powerful by writing Qingzi

Guo Xun the Duke of Taishi Yiguo, Zhu Xizhong the Duke of Taishi Chengguo, Cui Yuan, Marquis Qiuluan of Taifu Xianning, Wu Jinghe, Pingbo Fang Chengyu of Shaobao, Lu Bing, Governor of Taibao, Zhu Xixiao, Governor of Taibao, Xia Yan of Shaoshi University, Zhai Luan, Scholar of Shaofu University, Yan Song, Scholar of Shaofu University, Gu Dingchen, Scholar of Shaobao Shangshu Feihong, Scholar of Gongbao University Zhang Zhi, Li Ben of Shaofu Bachelor, Xu Jie of Shaoshi University, Ouyang De of Shangshu, Li Mo of Gongbao Shangshu, Wang Yongbin of Fubao Shangshu, Wu Shan of Shaobao Shangshu, Yuan Wei of Shaofu University, Gongbao University Scholar Yan Ne, Shaobao University Scholar Li Chunfang, Shaobao University Scholar Guo Pu, Shangshu University Scholar Gao Gong, etc.

These people all worked hard and racked their brains to write green words in order to gain the favor of the Jiajing Emperor. Whether the Qingzi Congratulatory Table is written well or badly, and whether it conforms to the wishes of the Jiajing Emperor, has become the main condition for whether these people can soar to the top.

After the middle of the Jiajing period, the first assistants of the cabinet, Xia Ji, Yan Song, Xu Jie, and others, on the one hand, carefully wrote Qingzi themselves in order to consolidate their existing positions, and on the other hand, they used Qingci as a means to defeat political enemies, and Qingzi became a tool for cabinet ministers to fight and carry out political struggles.

In the late Jiajing period, there were four people who won the favor of the Jiajing Emperor by writing Qingzi, and they were in the limelight because of their rapid promotion, which was Li Chunfang, Yan Ne, Guo Pu and Yuan Wei, who were known as the "Qingzi ZaiXiang".

Li Chunfang is a native of Xinghua, Yangzhou, with a solid character. He was the champion of Jiajing's twenty-six-year examination, and after being awarded the title of Hanlin Academy, he "wrote qingzi in the Western Garden, was greatly supported by the emperor, and was promoted to Hanlin Bachelor with the attendant Yan Nechao." Li Chunfang was well-written in qingzi and had a smooth career path, and soon became a Taichang Shaoqing, the right attendant of the worship department, "Ju and Bachelor, Zhixiyuan as before." Later, he entered the Left Shilang, transferred to the Official's Department, and was promoted to the Rebbe Shangshu. Because of his meritorious achievements in formulating the "Ordinance of the Patriarchal Domain", he was given the title of Prince Taibao .50. Forty-four years in Jiajing, he was also a scholar of Wuyingdian University and participated in aircraft maintenance. Later generations said, "Sejong's family members are loyal to all the ministers, and all removals are specially intended." Chun Fang from bachelor to handle the government, where the six moves, not one by the court push. “

Jiajing's Qingzi Zaixiang, in addition to Yan Song, had more than 20 people at most, and these 4 people were the most powerful by writing Qingzi

Yan Ne is a Changshu person, the character Minqing. He entered the priesthood of Jiajing for twenty years, changed to Shu Jishi, was given the title of editor, and later moved to a waiter, "looking for Li Chunfang to enter the Zhixi Garden." Wrote green words, super awarded Hanlin Bachelor' degree. Li Taichang Shaoqing, the left and right attendants of the Ceremonial Department, the Reform Department, all of whom are also bachelors, still straight to the West Garden. All the green words written are called the purpose. Later, Yan Ne achieved the Shibu Shangshu, and with the support of the university scholar Xu Jie, he carried out a rectification of the official rule, and because of his remarkable labor performance, he added the prince Taibao of the palace, and Jiajing forty-four years "ordered the wuyingdian university to join the aircraft service." "History says" The emperor lived in the west garden, and the attendants were all in the garden. Ne Chen went out to take care of the ministry, twilight and true Lu, offering the green words, careful and fearful, until the disease did not heal for a long time. The above two are already typical bureaucrats who have been promoted by Qingzi, while Yuan Wei and Guo Pu are more ironic.

Yuan Wei was a benevolent person in Zhejiang, who was the first in the Seventeenth Year Examination and the third in the Temple Examination in Jiajing, and was awarded the title of Editor of the Hanlin Academy and promoted to attendant. "For a long time, it is simply the West Garden, the most prestigious." Because Yuan Weiqing wrote well, the Jiajing Emperor wanted to promote him, and when Jiajing was thirty-five years old, the cabinet minister Tingtu tui revised quanyuan to take charge of the Nanjing Hanlin Academy, and the Jiajing Emperor specially ordered Yuan Wei to be used.

However, Yuan Wei did not hesitate to resign, saying that he was still willing to enshrine the Western Garden with the Forbidden City. This made the Jiajing Emperor so happy that he immediately promoted Yuan Wei to the rank of aquist, and just two months later, he made him a rebbe Shangshu, and the next year he added a guest of the crown prince and a bachelor, and gave him a pint of clothing. By the thirty-ninth year of Jiajing, "Fu yi to worship Enga Feng and so on, Ru jin zuo shilang." "In February next year, he was transferred to the ministry of officials, and the officials were enshrined as before, and a month later they were moved to the Rebbe Shangshu, and the crown prince Shaobao was still ordered to enter the zhi."

After Wei was enshrined, he entered the palace for six years, and shang shu was never before. Later, Yuan Wei was pleased by the Jiajing Emperor for discussing the eclipse, and the emperor ordered that Hubu Shangshu and Wuyingdian University be appointed as a scholar of the Wuyingdian University, and the accumulated officials were at least Fu and Crown Prince Taifu and Jianjidian University Scholars.

Yuan Wei was quick-witted, and whenever he wrote a green word, he tried his best to figure it out in order to win the emperor's favor. The Jiajing Emperor often handed out pieces of paper from the crack in the door in the middle of the night by eunuchs, ordered to write green words, and Yuan Wei held up his pen to stand up, with gorgeous words and neat battles, which was deeply appreciated by the Jiajing Emperor.

Whenever he encountered Chinese and foreign imports and dedications, Yuan Wei carefully wrote an ode with extremely exquisite words. Once, a cat owned by the Jiajing Emperor died. This is a cat sacrificed by the King of Jin in Shanxi, and because of its understanding, the emperor was so kind that he named it "Dragon". When the cat died, the Jiajing Emperor ordered that the cat be buried in a golden coffin on Banzai Mountain (now Jingshan Mountain), erect a monument called "Dragon Tomb", and order the Taoist monks to set up a jai, and let the poets write the green words to surpass the cat.

Yuan Wei worked hard and wrote a green poem that made the Jiajing Emperor praise him, especially the phrase "turning a lion into a dragon", which made the Jiajing Emperor even happier, so the emperor gave him "a thick gift, and no one else dared to hope." "As for the green words written by Yuan Wei, there is nothing to be gained except for flattery, which we can see from the Jai Yu couplet that was written by him and was praised by his colleagues at that time.

Its connected cloud:

Luoshui Xuangui Chu Xianrui, Yin number nine, yang number nine, nine nine eighty-one number, number through the Tao, Dao Heyuan Shi Tianzun, a sincere feeling.

Qishan Danfeng two Chengxiang, male singing six, female singing six, six six thirty-six sounds, sound in the sky, born Jiajing Emperor, longevity boundless.

Such a couplet, in addition to the praise of flesh and hemp and a pair of flattering bones, there is also a little shadow of the current minister worried about the country and the people.

As for Guo Pu, another Qingzi chancellor, he was a native of Anyang, Henan, a zifu, a jinshi of Jiajing for fourteen years, and a tired official to the right attendant of the Rebbe. After he entered the Zhixi Garden, he also served as the left and right attendants of the official department and the guest of the crown prince. Just at this time, the Nanjing Ministry of Rites lacked a Shangshu, and the Jiajing Emperor took pity on Guo Pujiuzhi Xiyuan and specially gave him the rank of Crown Prince Shaobao to go to Nanjing to serve as a Shangshu of the Ministry of Rites.

So Guo Pu also performed the same play as Yuan Wei, and resigned: "Fortunately and writing, I don't want to stay away from Que Xia." "The Jiajing Emperor was also very happy," the fate was to take the crown prince Shaobao, Libu Shangshu, and Zhan Shifu as before. ”

Compared with these courtiers who soared by writing Qingzi, those who expressed their disvoy in cultivating Xuan and writing Qingzi, even relatives of the emperor and the state, were also punished. Wu Jinghe, the daughter of Emperor Xiaozong, was the husband of Princess Yongfu, a native of Kunshan, who was a foreign relative who often went in and out of the court, and since he was a contemporary, the Jiajing Emperor had a good relationship with him, so he ordered him to also enter the ZhixiYuan to write Xuanwen.

Jiajing's Qingzi Zaixiang, in addition to Yan Song, had more than 20 people at most, and these 4 people were the most powerful by writing Qingzi

However, Wu Jinghe was not interested in Taoism, and did not think much of Emperor Jiajing's single-minded cultivation, and after entering Zhixiyuan several times, he resigned from Xiyuan Zhilu's errand on the grounds that he did not understand the mysteries, which made Emperor Jiajing very unhappy, thinking that this cousin-in-law really did not know how to lift, but did not say anything. By July of the thirty-third year of Jiajing, the Jiajing Emperor was again performing a fasting ceremony in the Qingfu Hall, and all the courtiers who had entered the Zhixi Garden came to perform the "Blessing Ceremony", but Wu Jinghe was not accustomed to this scene, and he left before the ceremony was completed. Afterwards, Wu Jinghe, who sponsored the cultivation of Xuan, was also rewarded with a silver coin. Wu Jinghe was unwilling to accept such a reward, so he said: "The minister is rewarded for his lack of merit, fearing to increase his sins, begging for resignation, so that the subject can wash his mind and purify his worries, in order to follow the reward of the wrapping of the corpse and the knotting of the grass." ”

The Jiajing Emperor was angry this time, and regardless of whether Wu Jinghe or the emperor was a relative, he accused Wu Jinghe of the word "shrouded corpse" in his words, saying that it was "cursed in ominous language, complained, and lost courtesy." Wu Jinghe was sent down to the Fasi and finally reduced to his original hometown.

The Jiajing Emperor's reverence for Taoism was indeed extraordinary, surpassing other revered emperors in history. However, the purpose of his worship of the Tao was to pray for eternal life, so that he could enjoy the glory and wealth of this "Nine-Five-Year Dignity" forever, and he understood very well that the power of the state could not be sidelined, let alone allow the Daoists to interfere in politics at will. Therefore, although Sejong revered the Tao, he did not lose control of the government, and although the Daoist priests Shao Yuanjie and Tao Zhongwen were favored, they were cautious and did not dare to be arrogant, and those slightly imprudent Daoists did not end well in the end.
