Live Bar Oct. 17 Grizzlies officially announced today that the team has cut Chris Dunn, David Stockton and Matthew Hutt.
In a trade this summer, the Grizzlies sent Juan Hernangomez to get Chris Dunn, Carson Edwards and a 2026 second-round draft pick swap from the Celtics.
In the 20-21 season, Dunn played four regular season games for the Hawks, averaging 11.3 minutes per game, 1.3 points, 1.5 rebounds, 0.5 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.5 blocks.
Hurt, 21, was the loser of this year's draft and signed a two-way contract with the Rockets on Aug. 13. Hurt played five Las Vegas Summer League games for the Rockets, averaging 10.3 minutes per game and 2.2 points and 1.8 rebounds.
David Stockton is the son of NBA star John Stockton. Previously, he played for the Jazz and Kings in his NBA career, played in 6 regular season games, averaged 7 minutes per game, had 3 points, 0.3 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.3 steals, and shot 60% from three-point range (0.7 shots per game).
