In order to implement the important instructions of Comrade Cao Jiongfang, Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee, in the "Report on the Protection of Chen Pengnian's Tomb and the Planning and Construction of the "Xiangtan East Fog Mountain Chen Pengnian Honest Government Cultural Park"", on January 13, 2020, Li Haoxiong, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, presided over the first plenary meeting of the leading group meeting of the Construction Project of Chen Pengnian Honest Government Cultural Park in the conference room on the third floor of the swing house in Fenshui Township. The meeting listened to the relevant instructions of Comrade Liu Jianghua, secretary of the party committee of Fenshui Township, on the construction of the Chen Pengnian Honest Government Cultural Park by leaders at higher levels, and listened to the brief introduction of Chen Pengnian and his person, the relevant work carried out in the early stage, the work plan for the next stage, and the problems that all units need to solve. The county-level leaders and responsible persons of relevant units attending the meeting separately expressed their opinions and suggestions. It is reported that the participating counties directly under the county expressed strong support for the construction project of Chen Pengnian Honest Government Cultural Park and fully cooperated with the relevant work. It was unanimously agreed that Chen Pengnian opened a precedent for the rise of talent groups in modern Hunan in the country, and is of great educational significance at the moment when General Secretary Xi Jinping advocates the construction of a loyal, responsible and clean cadre team. The tremendous spiritual wealth created by Chen Pengnian should be fully excavated, developed, and utilized.
