(Mysterious Earth uux.cn report) According to ETtoday (Lu Xinlu): A young monkey in the Tataga Recreation Area of the Yushan National Principality in Taiwan was hit by a vehicle and fell to the ground on the spot, and the mother of the macaque monkey was reluctant to abandon the child and carried the body around for 5 days and 4 nights. The Jade Management Office said that because wild animals have their own way of life, they will not interfere with the mother monkey and the baby monkey, and mentioned that there are similar cases abroad, but the whereabouts of the monkey corpse are still unknown.
The Jade Pipe Office mentioned to the "ETtoday Pet Cloud" that there was a female monkey in foreign countries who also held the dead monkey child and moved around to forage for food for a week, during which the mother monkey never let go of the body, although it had emitted a foul odor and mosquitoes, it still showed a moving motherly love. Unexpectedly, the observer saw the female monkey again a week later, but found that the baby monkey in his arms had disappeared, and no one still knew where the body was buried.
The Jade Management Office explained that Taiwanese macaques belong to wild animals, and the park staff will not interfere with their lives, so it is impossible to predict how long the mother monkeys will hold the monkey corpses, but it will strengthen the inspection of Tataga Station, and remind the public not to go near any macaques, and be sure to slow down when driving and keep a safe distance from them.
It is understood that after the car accident, when the monkeys are foraging and moving in the past few days, the mother monkeys will also take the dead monkeys to move together, because they are reluctant to leave, and sometimes gently caress the corpse. Sadly, when the mother monkey is looking for food, she will put the monkey carcass next to her or on the road, but as soon as the car is approached, she will immediately pick up and run away with other companions.
The Jade Management Office appealed that when passengers hike or rest, please avoid picnics in the hot areas where Taiwan macaques are active, take kitchen waste down the mountain by yourself, do not stay on the mountain, and avoid macaques getting used to human food, "slow down when driving, monkeys really don't look left and right when crossing the road, please don't let macaque mothers hug babies who can't be warmed, don't let them beg for a living on the road and parking lot."
