Jinan, October 13 (Xinhua) -- Recently, 16 Chinese crested terns flew to the Wanbao Binhai Scenic Area of Rizhao ShanHaitian Tourist Resort to forage and play by the sea, attracting tourists and photographers to watch and shoot. The Chinese crested tern is one of the most endangered birds in the world and has been listed as a critically endangered species by the IUCN.

The Chinese crested tern has extremely high ecological requirements for its habitat.
