On October 21, 2021, 37 rare birds, the Chinese crested tern, appeared in the Hongdao section of Jiaozhou Bay Ocean Park in Qingdao, Shandong Province, to paint a bright color for the migratory bird migration season. It is understood that the Chinese crested tern, also known as the black-billed crested tern, is one of the critically endangered bird species, and the number of birds in the world has exceeded 100. Due to the scarcity of the population, it is rare to see and is called "mythical bird" by ornithologists. The picture shows flocks of Chinese crested terns and red-billed gulls roosting in the Red Island section of Jiaozhou Bay Ocean Park in Qingdao City.
