Similar to cheetahs, cats are highly capable of climbing trees, but they choose to burrow in the ground to live. Perhaps they also feel that "down-to-earth" is safer for small babies.
And in addition to the pair of big erect ears that is the reason why I judged that the fox cat is the prototype of the prairie hunting cat, the fox cat also has the personality of living independently. They do not live alone until they are old.
In addition, they have a special skill, their thirst for water is not so strong, and the lynx can survive for a long time without water. At this time, they mainly rely on the body fluids in the prey to obtain water.
The main diet of the lynx is rodents and hares, and occasionally attacks gazelles, small antelopes or young ostriches.
But they are very picky about eating, they usually abandon the offal of captured mammals, and some cats will also pluck the hair of hoofed rabbits and larger prey, and will remove the flesh on the skin to avoid eating hair.
