Xiong Boqi, also known as Guanghan, Rongsheng, Jinlisheng, Tianfumin. The name of the three Yan rooms, do not sign the Jade Leixuan, Lingjuan Lu, Xingfeng Building. A native of Jingyan County, Sichuan. Born in Chengdu in 1944, he settled in Beijing in 1955. He is a national first-class artist and a director of the second, third, fourth and fifth terms of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. He is currently the deputy director of the Seal Engraving Professional Committee of the China Book Association. Professor of calligraphy training center of China Book Association, vice president of Peony Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee of China Federation of Literature and Art, researcher of China Seal Engraving Art Academy of China Academy of Arts, director of Xiling Printing Society, director of Seal Engraving Creation Research Office of Xiling Printing Society, vice president of Beijing Printing Society.
He is good at seal engraving, calligraphy, freehand flowers and poetry. His works have been exhibited in previous national calligraphy and seal engraving exhibitions and other major domestic and international exhibitions, and have served as judges for many times. He has held many solo exhibitions at home and abroad, published several publications and several papers, and his works have been collected by many institutions at home and abroad. In December 2014, he won the Art Award of the 5th Chinese Calligraphy Lanting Award.
Dong Zhenghe (1951.8-), member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. Librarian of the Central Museum of Culture and History. Since childhood, he has learned to write with his father Dong Shiliang. After middle school, he entered Xu Zhiqian's door. It was also instructed by Kang Yong, Ouyang Zhongshi and Liu Bingsen. In the 1980s, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. He specializes in European characters, and also learns Han Li and Xing Cursive. In 1974, he worked at the Palace Museum in Beijing.
Liu Zhengcheng is currently the chairman of the International Association of Calligraphers, the editor-in-chief of the Complete Collection of Chinese Calligraphy, the consultant of the Higher Calligraphy Education Branch of the (National) Education Calligraphy and Painting Association, a visiting professor of Peking University, the Central Academy of Fine Arts and other colleges, and a former member of the Central Cultural Work Committee of the Jiusan Society.
He has long served as the executive director and deputy secretary-general of the Chinese Calligraphers Association. As the main curator, he has planned six consecutive national calligraphy exhibitions for young and middle-aged people, calligraphy exhibitions in the twentieth century, modern Chinese calligraphy exhibitions in Paris, calligraphy exhibitions for the 50th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, calligraphy exhibitions for thousands of years, and international calligraphy exhibitions in Yongquan, etc. The deputy director of the Academic Committee of the China Book Association presided over academic research activities, planned the second, third, fourth and fifth national calligraphy seminars in China, and served as the president and editor-in-chief of China Calligraphy magazine for 18 years.
Since 1992, he has enjoyed the special allowance of the State Council and has been awarded the "World Calligraphy Merit Medal" by the Korean Artists Association and the Korea Academy of Arts and Culture. He was awarded the "Special Contribution Award for Calligraphy Art" by the China Book Association, the grand prize of the "Jeonbuk International Biennale of Calligraphy in Korea", and the winner of the 2015 Cambridge Xu Zhimo Sino-British Cultural Exchange Award.
He is the chief editor of the Dictionary of Chinese Calligraphy Appreciation (won the 4th National Book Award) and the chief editor of the Complete Collection of Chinese Calligraphy (73 volumes published).
