It is understood that the Bihu Poetry Society, named after Bilang Lake, one of the sixteen scenic spots of Kaifu Temple, was founded in 1886 and is the only poetry society in the country that has so far integrated "Confucianism". It was founded by the senior monks Ji Chan, Kao Yun and the famous poets Wang Minyun, Guo Songtao, Wang Xianqian and others at Kaifu Temple.
