Shi Peng opened a lecture on Confucian poetry

On the evening of December 2, Mr. Shi Peng, the 92-year-old president of the Hunan Provincial Chanting Society, known as the "living fossil of Xiang dialect chanting", walked into Central South University to give a lecture on "Confucian Poetry Steeped in Philosophy". The event was jointly sponsored by the Department of Philosophy of the School of Public Administration of Central South University and the Hunan Provincial Society of Recitation, hosted by the Research Center for Chinese Studies of Central South University, and co-organized by Yunlin Book Club, and was one of the series of lectures given by the Department of Philosophy of Central South University to commemorate the "International Day of Philosophy in the World". ■ Reporter Hu Rui
