Are there any rules in the world? Japanese writer Kotaro Isaka explores this philosophical problem in his novel Gorgeous Life. Recently, the Chinese Simplified edition of "Gorgeous Life" was launched by Nova Press, and the film adaptation of the work was starred by well-known actors such as Masato Sakai.
Kotaro Isaka is a popular best-selling author in Japan, born in 1971 in Chiba Prefecture, Japan, whose works "Golden Dreamland", "Gravity Clown", "Accuracy of Death", "Golden Dreamland" and other awards have been frequently adapted to the screen. Kotaro Isaka's work is in a clear style, both writing violent murders as if they were everyday life, and inspiring power from casual dialogue. His imagination is rich, he is good at multi-line narrative, the story seems to be a mess, but the ending is often addictive, and with his unique "love and courage" to impress a large number of loyal readers.
In his new work, Gorgeous Life, he explores the profound topic of "rules of the world" with interesting novel narrative threads: the thief Kurosawa opens the door and meets a neighbor he has never met, he enthusiastically helps the neighbor to carry away his drunken friend, and then picks up a piece of paper with foreign characters written on it; Kawawarazaki, who loves painting, waits in a café, and he graffiti on the back of the leaflet he gets in his hand, and the front of the leaflet is a search notice that describes the characteristics of missing youth in detail; the psychological counselor Kyoko receives a call from her husband early in the morning. Her husband filed for divorce, and she had planned to join forces with her lover tonight to get rid of her current partner; the unemployed middle-aged Toyota's fortieth application was rejected, he was wandering around the station, and he heard passers-by chatting about "stray dogs"... If the world began with this, what would happen next? The story unfolds one by one in the narrative of the novel.
It is also understood that the film adaptation of "Gorgeous Life" is starred by Yingtai, Matsuda Ryuhei, and Sakai Masato, and will also meet with readers in the near future.
