Zhu Yigui's hometown was in Fujian, and after he went to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, he set up a duck farm. Although he is a duck, he likes to make friends on the rivers and lakes, and as soon as the friends arrive at his house, he always has to slaughter a duck to entertain guests. After a long time, his friends gave him the nickname "Duck Mother King".

Zhu Yigui has always told everyone that his ancestor is Zhu Yuanzhang, so he not only wants to be the "duck mother king", but also to regain the old Zhu family's Jiangshan.
Just at this time, the prince of the prefect of Taiwan went on a killing spree because the common people cut down a few bamboo sticks on the mountain, causing hundreds of people to lose their heads. This incident caused great indignation among the people. When Zhu Yigui saw it, he felt that the time had come to rebel, so he held the opening rebellion banquet. In 1683, Shi Lang defeated the Zheng regime in Taiwan, and Taiwan returned to the embrace of the Qing Dynasty. Also from 1683 onwards, China and Russia had several wars on the border, the Chinese side won a great victory, in 1689 signed the Sino-Russian Nebuchu Treaty, delineating the Sino-Russian border, which was the first time that the Chinese government signed a treaty with a foreign country in an equal capacity. In 1691, Outer Mongolia was incorporated into the territory of China. Since 1690, Kangxi has personally conquered the Dzungars three times, and Xinjiang, Qinghai and other places have been incorporated into China. In 1720, Tibet was incorporated into the territory of China.
After Zhu Yigui and others launched a rebellion, they found that the old masters who usually acted as a mighty man were all like paper paste. In less than ten days, Taiwan was all taken by the peasant brothers. Zhu Yigui also became the "King of Daming Zhongxing".
But at this time, one of his brothers, Du Junying, engaged in banditry. Du Junying, this brother, seeing that the battle was fought very smoothly, was a little fluttery, and thought to himself, it is time to be happy. So he sent his horse boy to rob seven beautiful country girls.
Hearing this, Zhu Yigui immediately came to Du Junying's camp. At first, Old Zhu was still very polite, and he said in a gentle tone, "Brother, let those seven girls go!" We're just getting started, and we can't do that. You tell me? "Xiao Du, who wants to be on fire, where can he still listen to Old Zhu's words?" He shouted, "Isn't it just a few women!" What a fuss. I don't put it! As soon as Old Zhu heard this, his anger rose up, and he said loudly, "What is the difference between you and a robber when you do this?" If you don't let go of those ladies, don't blame me old Zhu for being rude. After saying that, he snorted and left.
But Du Junying did not take Lao Zhu's anger seriously at all, and continued to leave the other girl around to be happy. Zhu Yigui couldn't bear it, and finally sent troops to clean up Du Junying. But in this way, his own strength was also greatly weakened. After being defeated by Zhu Yigui, Du Junying went to southern Taiwan with tens of thousands of troops. Later, he also surrendered to the Qing government.
Seeing that there was a split within the rebel team, the imperial court immediately sent a large group of men and horses to attack Zhu Yigui. Zhu Yigui's peasant troops were defeated again and again under the repeated blows of the regular state forces. Zhu Yigui was also betrayed by traitors and was eventually captured by Qing soldiers.
After becoming a prisoner of the ranks, an official asked Zhu Yigui: "You stink and raise ducks, why do you want to create a rebellion of the central authorities?" Zhu Yigui retorted angrily: "I am a descendant of the old Zhu family, can restoring the inheritance of my ancestors be called a rebellion?" What dog official like you, as a Han Chinese, is willing to be a lackey of the Qing government? You are the real traitors. The official was scolded by Zhu Yigui and became angry, and ordered his men to break Zhu Yigui's leg.
In the end, Zhu Yigui was escorted to Beijing for a thousand swords.
