The gestation period of the female hippopotamus is generally about 240 days, and it is born in water, giving birth to 1 litter per litter. On March 17, keepers found a she-wolf hiding in a burrow and refusing to come out, revealing only a head, always vigilantly watching for changes around her. The keepers judged that the she-wolf had given birth on the evening of the 16th. In order not to disturb the nursing she-wolf, the keepers also try to keep their voices low when cleaning, for fear of affecting the "confinement mother".

There are now 10 lion-tailed monkeys in the park, living in the exhibition area of "two rooms and one hall", consisting of two indoor cages and an outdoor cage, and the group is led by a male lion-tailed monkey. Due to the strong territorial awareness of the lion-tailed monkeys, the staff can only observe from a distance across the cage when observing the baby lion-tailed monkeys. If too close, the male lion-tailed monkey will come to demonstrate, opening its mouth and revealing its fangs, quite the taste of a male lion. The mother monkey will hug the baby monkey tightly and hide far behind the cage to make a protective gesture.
