This year's No. 2 typhoon "Miaobai" made landfall (tropical storm level, magnitude 9) on the coast of Dapeng Peninsula in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, around 23:00 yesterday, 15 days earlier than the average time of the first typhoon in the year (June 27). At present, its center is located in the territory of Heyuan in Guangdong Province, with a maximum wind force of 8. Affected by it, heavy rain or heavy rains have occurred in Shenzhen, Huizhou, Shanwei, Jieyang and other places in Guangdong, and the local rainfall in Huizhou coastal areas has reached 200 to 260 mm; the largest gusts in the central and eastern coastal areas of Guangdong are 8 to 9 and local 10 to 12.

It is expected that the "MiaoBai" will move in a northerly direction at a speed of 20 km / h, and the intensity will continue to weaken, moving into the territory of Jiangxi around noon. Today, there will be 6 to 8 gales in the northern part of the South China Sea, the Taiwan Strait, the central and eastern coasts of Guangdong, and the central and southern coasts of Fujian, and gusts in some seas can reach 9 to 10; there will be heavy rain and localized heavy rainstorms (100 to 220 mm) in central and eastern Guangdong, southern Jiangxi, eastern and southern Fujian. The Central Meteorological Observatory issued a typhoon blue warning this morning.

Yesterday, in addition to the strong wind and rain brought by "Miaobai" to Guangdong, the heavy rainfall in the northern part of Jiangnan and northeastern Fujian, Guangxi, Yunnan-Guizhou and other places was not to be outdone, and heavy rainstorms occurred locally, and the local rainfall in Ningde, Fujian Province, reached 200 to 234 mm. The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that from the 13th to the 16th, the stronger rainfall will still control the southern and eastern parts of Jiangnan, southern China and southern Guizhou, eastern Yunnan and other places, and there will be heavy rain and localized heavy rain in some parts of Zhejiang, Jiangxi, Fujian, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan.

Among them, from day to night today, there are heavy rains or heavy rainstorms in central and eastern Guangdong, northeastern and southern Jiangxi, eastern and southern Fujian, southeastern Anhui, most of Zhejiang, northern Guangxi, southeastern Yunnan and other places, of which there are heavy rainstorms (100 to 220 mm) in parts of eastern Guangdong, southern Fujian, eastern Zhejiang and other places; the above areas are partially accompanied by strong convective weather such as short-term strong precipitation, thunderstorms and strong winds, and the maximum hourly rain intensity can reach 30 to 50 mm, and the local area exceeds 60 mm. The Central Meteorological Observatory continues to issue yellow warnings of heavy rainstorms.
