Lu Shen (1477-1544) Ming Dynasty writer and calligrapher. His original name was Rong, Ziyuan ,Ziyuan (字子元), and he was a native of Songjiang Province (present-day Shanghai). Koji was a scholar in the eighteenth year. Lu Shen's calligraphy is vigorous and methodical, such as iron painting silver hook. The writings are hongfu, which is unique among shanghainese in the Ming Dynasty. Shanghai Lujiazui is also named after its former residence and ancestral home.
