In 1989, he entered the China Children's Film Studio Art School to study film and television and drama performance. He began to study dance at the China Children's And Children's Activity Center in 1990 and piano at the Dance Academy from 1990 to 1997. He began his studies at Haidian Experimental Primary School in 1991, studied dance at CCTV Media Art Troupe from 1994 to 1997, and traveled to Australia on behalf of CCTV. In 1997, he entered Beijing 101 Middle School to study rhythmic gymnastics, and in 2003, he entered the first class of the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama (with Wang Longhua and Zhang Han as classmates).
In 1990, Zhang Yufei participated in the family emotional drama "Longing" starring Zhang Kaili and Sun Song. In 1993, he became a well-known child star for playing a painter in the Qiong Yao drama "Between Water and Clouds" starring Ma Jingtao and Chen Derong.
Humble and low-key, elegant and gentle Zhang Yufei has been quietly working hard after graduation, and has developed in all aspects such as movies, TV series, dramas, musicals, and advertisements.
In particular, after graduating from the Department of Chinese Opera Acting in 2007, Zhang Yufei starred in the role of female one or two in many film and television dramas with her fresh and elegant temperament and tempered acting skills for many years. In the CCTV drama "Xingguo Xingguo Xingguo", Zhang Yufei even left a deep impression on the audience with the role of the female number two "Xia Dongxiao".
