Zhaoqing Campus of Songtian College of Guangzhou University is located in Lianhua Town, in the southern foothills of the Beiling Mountains in Zhaoqing New District, on the west side of gongqing Reservoir, 200 meters from the Lotus Exit of Guangzhou-Foshan-Zhaozhou Expressway, and close to the Sanmao Railway. The total planning of the new campus covers an area of 1,000 mu, the first phase of the land area is about 243,900 square meters (about 366 mu), the total planned building area is 365,900 square meters, and it is expected to welcome the first batch of new students in September 2021.
The college will build the Zhaoqing campus with high starting point, high quality and high speed, comply with the terrain conditions of the new campus surrounded by mountains and water systems, and take the design concept of "Shanshui Campus and Wenli University" as the design concept, making this a new educational highlight of colorful Zhaoqing.
Liu Jianfeng, chairman of The Songtian College of Guangzhou University, told Nandu reporters that the Zhaoqing campus is in the easternmost part of the "Science and Education Corridor" in Zhaoqing New District, and about 10 schools will be built from the "Science and Education Corridor" to the west to the east. In the future, the college will further accelerate the construction of Zhaoqing Campus, and according to the further development of the Greater Bay Area, closely integrate the construction of disciplines and majors with the industry, and cultivate senior application-oriented technical skills talents.
