Poetry should mean first, and it is not intended to become poetry

"Poetry should mean first, and unintentionally difficult to be poetry!"

The contempt has always believed that poetry should be the first, the rhyme should be appropriate, and the law should be secondary!

"Where the body of poetry is composed, the meaning is the lattice, the sound is the law, the meaning is high, the vocal argument is clear, the grammar is complete, and then there is a tone."

meaning! One is the artistic conception, how the writing is disregarded, the meaning is not the poetry can not be achieved; it is also said to be the pattern, the pattern is the poetry bone, without the wind bone, the poetry is difficult to achieve. There is also a saying that the meaning is the momentum, which can be understood as the momentum, and can also be understood as the situation, the momentum is not up, the sound is not high, and the poetry is difficult. In a word: before the intention arrives, no matter how good your grammar is, the four rhymes are just a slip of the tongue.

In Cao Xueqin's "Dream of the Red Chamber", Lin Daiyu taught Xiangling to compose poetry, and once said: Poetry, words and sentences are still the last thing, the first intention is important. If the meaning is true, the conjunction does not need to be modified, it is good, this is called "not to harm the meaning of words". Lin Daiyu believes that poetry should be composed of "intention" first, followed by literary style, and should not damage the content by paying too much attention to the form of rhetoric.

And the Tang Dynasty poet Cui Hao's poem "Yellow Crane Tower" is a masterpiece of "not harming words", which has been passed down through the ages:

The people of the past have gone by the Yellow Crane, and the Yellow Crane Tower is empty here.

The yellow crane is gone, and the white clouds are long in the air.

Harukawa calendar Hanyang tree, yerba buena parrot island.

Where is Nippori Pass? The Smoke Wave River is sad.

"Yellow Crane Tower" is a seven-sentence poem, but his rules are not strict.

The first four sentences repeat three "yellow cranes", which is a big taboo in the rhythm poem, but when read as a whole, it rushes straight down without delay.

The sentence "The Yellow Crane is gone and never returns" is almost entirely sung; the fourth sentence uses a three-flat tone like "empty and leisurely"; regardless of what is the opposite, this poem is all the syntax of the ancient poetry.

However, as Lin Daiyu said, "Do not harm the meaning of words", although the rules are not strict, but the weather is magnificent, the arrogance is reckless, the momentum is majestic, and it is extremely beautiful in painting, the beauty of music, and the beauty of the artistic conception.

The Southern Song Dynasty poetry critic Yan Yu said in "Canglang Poetry": The Tang Dynasty's seven-word poetry should be cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower" as the first.

Yuanren Xin Wenfang recorded such a story in the "Biography of Tang Caizi":

It is said that Li Bai came to the Yellow Crane Tower, the poetry was flourishing, preparing to give poetry, after seeing Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower", he sighed that the writing was too good, he could not write him, leaving: "There is a scene in front of you, and Cui Hao's inscription poem is on the top." ”

As a monument, since ancient times, countless literati and inkers have written poems, but only Cui Hao's "Yellow Crane Tower" has been rated as "the first in eternity"!

Tang Dumu's poem "Mountain Walk"

Far up the cold mountain stone path slope,

There is a family in Baiyunsheng.

Parking love Maplewood night,

Frost leaves are red in February flowers.

Many people, including some teachers, are teaching their students that the "oblique" in the stone path should read xia, and I feel a little inexplicable. Poetry is not three rhymes, four rhymes is superior, as long as two or four rhymes, it can be completely become a poem, obviously it is a stone path meandering, it is crooked and oblique, why must it be read as xia? Wrong people, the law control must not be!

Although poetry does not have a fixed format, there are old-style poems, there are near-body poems, and there are modern poems, but no matter what kind of poetry, there is a criterion for judging, that is, there must be "intention". Even if it is after the and fart, the master should not steal affection, the monk will not string it up, and the words will not come out to stain people's eyes.

Let's let the holy place of poetry save some clear water!
