We started in 2007 and have now, in 2009, we have completed interviews and made the images into feature films based on individual units. But this group has covered a long time and a lot of people, so who has not been missed, right?
When zhang li, who was studying for a master's degree at the Beijing Film Academy, sat at the workbench and frowned and thought seriously, pinching his fingers and counting carefully. In addition to his studies, he participated in the planning and production of a large-scale TV feature called "Wuxia Film Character History". The person in charge of the project is Mr. Jia Leilei, who once wrote "History of Chinese Martial Arts Films".
In the past two years, Zhang Li and his partners have paid a lot of time and energy for this, interviewing non-stop, making it without sleeping and eating, and unable to take a break on holidays. But he has always enjoyed it and enjoyed it. Because he not only studied film, but also was a martial arts champion, his enthusiasm for martial arts from childhood to adulthood has never weakened. Professionalism and hobbies have made him a super enthusiast of martial arts and kung fu movies.
The people Zhang Li interviewed were all his idols all along, and he admired their style at close range, listened to their stories face to face, returned to the studio to look at the semi-finished products of those images over and over again, and carried out technical processing in editing, sound effects, music, etc. For him, not only did he not feel bored, but there was a kind of pleasure and the enjoyment of reviewing and understanding through time and space.
Zhang Li, like many young martial artists, also fell in love with martial arts because of kung fu films, he learned the traditional Shaanxi red fist and competitive routines, and also practiced sanda in the professional team, with excellent results. In addition to martial arts, he also loved to write and published articles in magazines such as Chinese Martial Arts, Wu Soul, Jingwu, Boxing and Fighting, etc. very early. Although he already knew that the film was far from the martial arts in reality, he did not dispel his curiosity and yearning for light and shadow kung fu.
After graduating from high school, Zhang Li entered the military academy and then became an instructor who stayed in the school. Two years later, he chose to continue his studies, but he determined his professional direction as film, which obviously has a lot to do with the martial arts and kung fu film complex that he had since he was a child.
Because he participated in the planning and production of the TV special film "Wuxia Film Character History", he was influenced by those interviewees, and his interest in film action direction work increased greatly, and he was invited by Hong Kong director Xu Xiaoming to participate in the filming of the film "Winning the Bid" and understand the specific process of the work through personal experience. After returning to school, he established this as the research direction and began to write monographs on this subject. The book was later published as The Secret of Kung Fu Films: The Art of Action Directing, filling in the gaps in this area in the country.
The work process of "Wuxia Film Character History" is divided into two stages, and Zhang Li wrote the book to take advantage of the intermittent time in it. After the Spring Festival in 2009, the second phase was launched, and he shifted his energy to the past. Another few months passed, and the work was nearing completion. After thinking about it carefully, he found that the goals and requirements put forward by the program had basically been met, except for Yuan Quinn, who has become an international action film director, who is still in the United States and cannot complete the interview for the time being, everything else has been completed.
Zhang Lichang breathed a sigh of relief and said in his heart that he could continue to write the book that had been shelved for a long time.
Zhang Li wanted to carve the Zhao Changjun unit that had been completed in the first stage and broadcast on the CCTV movie station before immersing himself in writing, and then carve it into a CD-ROM and give it to him.

Zhao Changjun is Zhang Li's Shaanxi Township Party, and he is also a martial arts master he has admired for a long time. When he was interviewed in Xi'an, Zhao Changjun not only treated him like a brother, but also introduced his mentor Ma Zhenbang to him, which made him overjoyed and sincerely grateful.
As early as a teenager learning martial arts, Zhang Li knew the prestige of Teacher Ma Zhenbang - he was not only the head coach of the Shaanxi Provincial Martial Arts Team, a fierce martial arts team, but also a traditional martial arts master who was quite famous in the martial arts circles at home and abroad.

Outside the martial arts world, Mr. Ma Zhenbang is also famous, one of which is because he has starred in the movies "Wudang" and "The Great Knife King V", in which xianfeng Daobone's appearance and extraordinary acting skills are impressive; second, and most importantly, he has cultivated the genius of competitive martial arts - Zhao Changjun, the ten-time all-round martial arts champion.
There are many martial arts masters and instructors who are famous for producing excellent disciples under their doors, and such people can be called "famous teachers". Ma Zhenbang is worthy of the name and deserves to be tolerated here. However, at the same time, he is also a master of the form and intention fist, cha fist, red fist and tong back fist that is extremely profound and extremely accomplished, with both physical and practical skills, practice and combat unity, and profound skills, which is worthy of the reputation of "master".
Zhang Li unexpectedly saw Teacher Ma Zhenbang and was overjoyed. Teacher Ma saw that this young man was pure and simple, polite and humble, and he also liked it very much, and even said in a thick Shaanxi Guanzhong accent: "Er (I) baby is good, Forehead (I) baby is good!" He also invited him to come to his house when he returned to Xi'an.
Zhang Li did not take this as a polite remark, he wanted to send the cd to Zhao Changjun, first, to express gratitude, and second, he also wanted to take the opportunity to ask Zhao to greet Teacher Ma, and told the old man that he could not go home in the Year of the Ox because of his interview in Hong Kong, and he must go to visit during the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger.

At this time, he had graduated from the Beijing Film Academy and entered a certain air force department. The new job has little to do with film and less to do with martial arts. Although the publication of the book "The Secret of Kung Fu Films - The Art of Action Directing" has made him an expert in the eyes of industry insiders, and there are still many people who come to him for discussion and contact, he really does not have time to pay too much attention to this aspect. However, the regular work and rest life of the troops gave him time to regain his martial arts and exercise his body.
Previously, he met a young screenwriter who was also a "post-80s", named Ning Yi, who practiced Yi Quan and had a very rich knowledge of traditional martial arts. During the exchange, Ning Yi told him about the inheritance of many various sects, the origin of techniques, the characteristics of style, the deeds of characters and anecdotes, which made him feel very interesting, and also worried about the decline of traditional martial arts and the trend of cultural demise in today's social environment.
During this period, Zhang Li began to pay attention to the popular "Wulin Conference" program on CCTV's sports channel. This is a sports event broadcast program sponsored by CCTV and the China University Sports Association, and organized and produced by China Television Sports Promotion Company and social enterprises, aiming to promote traditional Chinese martial arts and fully demonstrate the function of martial arts and martial arts confrontation.
Zhang Li admired the folk color of "Wulin Assembly", and he watched the final of the 2007 Shape-Intention Boxing Competition with relish, and later often reviewed it through computer videos.
It is reasonable to say that Zhang Li of Shaanxi should prefer the red fist competition in his hometown, and he loves to see the shape of the boxing, in fact, because of Ma Zhenbang.
Huang Dapeng, who won the championship in the final of the "Wulin Conference" Shape and Intention Boxing, was Ma Zhenbang's proud protégé in his later years. Zhang Li wanted to see Teacher Ma's martial arts style from him. He knew that Teacher Ma admired the "dragging step", "channeling forest step" and "big stride" of the split hanging fist, and once integrated this with the characteristics of the shape and intention fist of "progress must follow, retreat must follow", which can be seen from Huang Dapeng's performance of moving with his body and urging himself with steps. The more I look at him, the more I want to see Teacher Ma as soon as possible, ask him for advice in person, and ask him if he is right or wrong.

"Wulin Feng" is a martial arts program run by Henan Television, and in the vacuum time after the "Sanda King" competition ended without a problem, it was once a new spiritual sustenance for martial arts fans across the country. It turned out that some of Teacher Ma's disciples, after participating in the CCTV "Wulin Conference" and achieving results, made up their own minds and went to Henan to play "Wulin Feng". In the traditional Chinese martial arts world, there has always been a situation of "people going to the arts", and many good kung fu have disappeared forever. And what disappears is not only the craftsmanship, but also the historical and cultural information associated with it. Zhang Li had heard about the excavation and collation work organized by the national martial arts management agency in the 1980s, and on this basis, he had determined that there were 129 complete boxing systems in China at that time. The reason why these fists are called complete is not only because they include hard content such as martial arts theory, techniques, exercises, routines and instruments, but also supported by soft information that runs through the cultural beliefs and value orientations of this school, such as written records or oral narratives of historical evolution, lineage lineage, and representative character deeds.

Zhang Li felt that thirty years had passed since the beginning, and the traditional martial arts skills and culture had undergone continuous changes and developments, and it was mainly reflected in the achievements of masters like Ma Zhenbang, condensed and retained in their hearts, and they should take advantage of the fact that these people were still alive, dig up again, summarize new achievements, and continue to write a new history.
Zhang Li thought about publishing articles in martial arts magazines and making a loud appeal to the relevant parties; he also wanted to meet with the leaders of the martial arts management center and submit suggestions directly, but after meeting Teacher Ma, his thinking changed.

Zhang Li thought of the way he participated in the planning and production of "Wuxia Character History", and the way to let the parties dictate history through interviews is not very good? As a soldier and a martial artist, Zhang Li has a style of combining knowledge and action, sitting on words and doing deeds, and has always done what he says and does, and acts vigorously. In the short vacation, he found Ma Zhenbang many times, first put out his ideas in its entirety, and got the support and praise of the other party. Then, he hired a local friend to assist him, and adopted the production method of special documentaries and martial arts teaching films, conducted a comprehensive interview with Ma Zhenbang, and filmed and recorded his martial arts experience, martial arts skills and exercises.
During this period, Teacher Ma Zhenbang fully cooperated and told Zhang Li in detail about his rich experience in learning martial arts and teaching and his experience in cultivation, and at the same time introduced the process of modern survival and development of traditional martial arts in Northwest China. He also supported the sick body, or personally demonstrated or instructed the disciples to demonstrate, and displayed the true martial arts skills he had practiced without reservation, so that the first digging of Zhang Li was very fruitful.
In the following two years, Zhang Li returned to Xi'an several times to visit Ma Zhenbang to dig deep and replenish. The final result of his vision is that through the induction, collation and refinement of first-hand information, a set of "Ma Zhenbang Martial Arts Complete Collection" in two forms, including Ma Zhenbang's life experience and deeds, the history and culture of traditional martial arts in Northwest China, Ma Zhenbang's martial arts theory, technical techniques, teaching experience, etc., is divided into two forms: books and video CDs, dedicated to Ma Zhenbang himself and his lifelong Chinese martial arts.
