Zigong is the home of dinosaurs. Zigong has a 2,000-year history of the salt industry and a 70-year history of myopia. In 1939, in the 28th year of the Republic of China, the National Government approved the establishment of the Zigong Municipal Party Committee, which was one of the earliest provincial-level cities and industrial towns in Sichuan Province. A large number of continuous fossils have been found in this hilly soil, so it is determined that this is a treasure trove of fossils. In October 1977, a complete 40-ton dinosaur fossil was displayed in front of stunned people. Two years later, an oil crew exploded a thrilling scene as they built a parking lot with stones on a nearby hillside. Dinosaur fossils overlap and pile up, and the wonders of the world appear. A huge dinosaur colony cemetery reappears. After preliminary excavations, it was excavated from Dashanpu. There are more than 300 dinosaur fossils, more than 200 dinosaur individuals, 18 relatively complete stock markets, and 4 extremely rare skulls.
