Barca officially reported that Spain international and former Manchester City defender Eric Garcia joined as a free agent, and the contract between the two sides was signed until the summer of 2026, with a penalty of 400 million euros.
Eric Garcia, 20, plays as a central defender and joined The Ramasia Academy in 2008 as captain of Barca's youth teams at all levels. In 2017, Eric Garcia left the team to join Manchester City, spending four seasons in the U19, U23 and first team.
Eric Garcia is also Barca's second signing this summer, following the red and blues also bringing in Aguero in a free-throw format.
