The most important periods for the prevention and control of wood lice are spring, summer and autumn, and the winter temperature is low and the probability of occurrence is low.
Prevention and control principles:
1. Frequent inspection and testing;
2. Grasp the prevention and control of key periods such as winter, before the new shoots are pumped, and in the young tree stage;
3. Unified defense and rule;
4. Rotate medication, both above and below ground, every six months of soil application + monthly spraying;
5. Reduce the surrounding rue plants and psyllids;
6. Reduce hair ends;
7. Selective drugs to protect natural enemies, etc.

Pesticides that can be used to control citrus psyllids
1. Unified defense and rule:
Abandoned orchards are the sick nests of wood lice and should be comprehensively treated without leaving dead ends.
2. Quick Spraying:
Systemic pesticides: use soil application (leaching), trunk injection and other methods. It needs to be applied in advance, and the validity period > 40-100 days, and the length is related to the type of pesticide, tree size, soil type, irrigation and other factors. Imidacloprid, ethyl spirochetyl, sec-butylvir, etc. are commonly used systematic pesticides, but the use of these pesticides alone cannot completely prevent the spread of huanglongbing disease.
Non-systemic pesticides: canopy spraying, dripping water for degrees.
3. Rotate medications:
The aim is to prevent psyllids from developing resistance. China uses the same drug more than 12 times a year, Brazil sprays 6-15 times a year, Florida sprays 8-12 times a year, spraying more times, easy to make psyllids resistant, so it is necessary to rotate the drug.
4. Spraying period:
It is very important to clear the garden 1-2 times in winter, and it is better to use broad-spectrum insecticides and pyrethroids, and to kill adult insects before the new shoots are drawn, reducing the breeding population.
5. Protect parasitic wasps:
To protect the bees, it is better to remove insects, oil, and kaolin, followed by pyridoxine.
