Today, the East Lake Greenway was unveiled, Zhongshan Avenue opened, Metro Line 6 and Airport Line were opened, and Terminal 3 was basically completed. The completion of these major projects on schedule and at a high level is inseparable from the efforts of countless builders, who have been working hard and toil for many years. We interviewed 10 representatives of builders to tell the stories behind the construction, as a tribute to the Wuhan builder group.
Deputy Chief Engineer of Wuhan Real Estate Group, Director of Design Management Department of Wuhan Real Estate Group, responsible for the pre-design management of Zhongshan Avenue and East Lake Greenway
In 2015, the East Lake Tunnel was about to be completed, and Yin Weimin began to work on the design of the greenway. In the same year, the pre-design of Zhongshan Avenue was carried out simultaneously. For more than a year, he led the team to overcome one problem after another.
In May this year, at an expert meeting, some experts questioned the width of the Moshan Track in the East Lake Scenic Area, usually the width of the bicycle lane is 6 meters, while the width of the Moshan Track is only more than 5 meters. "That's because if you set the track at 6 meters, you have to transplant 27 big trees, as well as nearly a thousand medium-sized trees and shrubs." After the meeting, Yin Weimin checked the specification until 2 a.m., and finally found the original text of the bicycle track width standard from the "UCI Bicycle Road Race Rules". "The rules say 'general', not 'certain', and we should consider the actual situation and adapt to local conditions," he finally convinced the experts at the next meeting.
"When we design the surroundings of the greenway, we take into account the 'feelings' of the animals." Yin Weimin laughed and said that they deliberately planted 12 kinds of plant fruits that birds like to eat near the bird watching house; Deliberately avoided bird routes and habitats when setting up bird watching sites; Some "biological overpasses" have been specially built under the country road to facilitate the passage of small animals such as rabbits and snakes. Planner of the Municipal Bureau of Land Resources and Planning, expert of special government allowance of the State Council, chief planner of the revitalization planning of Zhongshan Avenue
Huang Huan is an authentic Wuhan native who grew up in the area of Zhongshan Avenue, Huitong Road and Yangzi Street are his "Hundred Grass Garden", and the Children's Library is his "Sanwei Book House". When he was appointed as the chief planner of the Zhongshan Avenue Neighborhood Revitalization Planning in 2013, he was both expectant and excited, "hoping to recreate my good memories."
From the beginning of the planning, Huang Huan and his planning team considered Zhongshan Avenue from a human point of view. In the distribution of road rights, the sidewalks are widened, the motorized lanes are compressed, and some of the lanes are changed to walking lanes. Huang Huan said that sometimes the planning for a lot has to be repeatedly revised for several months, not only to avoid causing greater pressure on peripheral traffic, but also to create a slow travel environment on Zhongshan Avenue as much as possible.
Concepts such as slow traffic, protection of old buildings, and preservation of the authenticity of communities have been internationally recognized, and won the "Planning Excellence Award", the world's highest award in the field of urban planning, and in September this year, Huang Huan went to South Africa as a representative to receive the award. Huang Huan said that Zhongshan Avenue has returned to a poetic life, especially the night view is worth savoring, and it is expected that citizens and tourists can walk around the scene and feel more beautiful. The project manager of The East Lake Greenway of Wuhan Real Estate Group is responsible for the internal and external coordination and coordination of the construction of the East Lake Greenway site
Yichang girl, water spirit, white skin, lip skin - this is the construction staff's first impression of Xu Yujie. Clear-minded, serious, small body but big energy - this is the construction staff and Xu Yujie after months of getting along with her evaluation.
East Lake Greenway, 28.7 kilometers, such a large project, Xu Yujie made a lot of decisions. One of them is very determined: big trees cannot be cut down. In order to protect the existing trees on both sides of the road, the existing trees during the construction process were all tied with hemp ropes 1.5 to 1.8 meters high and wrapped with green cloth. All old trees with a chest diameter of more than 8 centimeters have been preserved.
If you carefully compare the final route of the East Lake Greenway with the original design, you may find subtle differences. Because the original route needs to pass through large areas of woods and ponds, in order to maximize the protection of the original ecology, Xu Yujie coordinated the designers to repeatedly deliberate and finally fine-tune the route. The project also set up a special class for vegetation protection, continuous inspections, and heavy penalties will be imposed if it is found that the construction behavior that affects the trees will be severely punished. What makes Xu Yujie happy is that until the Completion of the Green Lake Greenway, this fine has not been paid. (Reporter Huang Shishi)
The project manager of Zhongshan Avenue of Wuhan Real Estate Group is responsible for the internal and external coordination and coordination of the on-site construction of Zhongshan Avenue
In the construction of Zhongshan Avenue, "threading" is one of the main tasks of project manager Huang Yonghua. It's just that the line he wears is not ordinary, and he is often several kilometers. Zhongshan Avenue has more than a dozen pipelines of various categories such as drainage, tap water, natural gas, electricity, communications, street lights, and public security videos, which are intricate and dense like cobwebs. The ownership units behind more than ten kinds of pipelines need to communicate with each other one by one; The relocation and upgrading of dozens of pipelines requires one by one to be adjusted and straightened out on the design drawings; All pipeline relocation and reconstruction construction nodes need to be coordinated according to the overall construction period target; Excavating pipeline trenches must not destroy the old pipeline - huang Yonghua has done a well-organized job that others seem to have a tingling scalp.
Because he is not afraid of trouble, Huang Yonghua has become a respected "summoning god general". "@Huang Yonghua, the iron box marked with the name 'public security special' at the intersection of Yiyuan Road, please deal with it quickly"; "@Huang Yonghua, the underside of the power pole at the one-yuan intersection has been chiseled off, and it has not been put down, please hurry up and deal with it"; "@Huang Yonghua, the construction period is tight, please help China Construction Third Bureau to coordinate the on-site construction"...... Xu Zhongyuan: A 7-kilometer stone road is paved in the water
The manager of the East Lake Greenway Project Department of Yiye Group is responsible for the internal and external coordination and coordination of the on-site construction of the country road
East Lake Greenway Country Road passes through the East Lake Luoyan Scenic Area, in order not to destroy the original ecology, but also not to hinder the travel of the villagers in the surrounding 3 villages, the staff chose the lake and try to avoid the area of the house to explore the road first. Due to the overgrowth of grass, the 7.3 kilometers of new roads are explored and opened up by design and construction personnel holding bamboo pens little by little.
"There is water on both sides of the road, and our work is equivalent to building a road in the water," Xu Zhongyuan said, because the cornerstone is particularly important because the road has to be resurfaced. In order to ensure that the trail has a solid foundation of cornerstones, the project department specially found large stones from the mountains of Huangshi and Ezhou. The roads are narrow, vehicles can't get in, the stones are too heavy, and the efficiency of hand-to-hand movement is too low. On this hot summer day, everyone fought all night, using trolleys to transport them one by one. Xu Zhongyuan recalled the process of moving bricks, laughing that it was a bit like Yugong moving mountains. In a month and a half, the stone was laid in place. Watching the country roads grow day by day, Xu Zhongyuan is particularly satisfied. "I'm proud to tell people that I helped build this section." The owner representative of the construction headquarters of Wuhan Metro Group is responsible for the civil engineering of the first phase of the Wuhan Rail Transit Line 6 project (Qinwu section).
Yesterday, recalling the thrilling subway crossing river tunnel rescue, 32-year-old Xia Songlin still remembers it vividly, "At that time, my heart was pounding and I was highly nervous. ”
At about 2:00 p.m. on July 17, Xia Songlin, who was watching the progress on the Qintai construction site of Metro Line 6, suddenly received an "alarm" call from the operator of the shield machine: a dangerous situation occurred in the left line tunnel between Qintai and Wusheng Road Station, and "water gushed in the tail of the shield machine". "I put down the phone and rushed down." Xia Songlin went down from the ground to qintai station, which was 10 stories deep underground, and ran along the tunnel to the dangerous point. Counter-pressure, water jams, emergency reporting... A series of emergency measures have been used. 11 managers and owners' representatives of the Hanyang section of Line 6, including Xia Songlin, led the workers to walk more than 1,000 meters in the tunnel at the bottom of the Han River, shoulder to shoulder and carry, and transported relief materials to dangerous points.
At about 9:00 a.m. on the 18th, the dangerous situation was initially controlled. The Summer Pine Forest, which had been underground for 18 consecutive hours, returned to the surface. (Reporter Tan Delei Correspondent Liu Dandan Yuan Yonghua)
Executive Commander of the East Lake Greenway Project of China Construction Third Bureau
When it comes to Wang Zhaokun, the 28-year-old executive commander of the East Lake Greenway Project of China Construction Third Bureau, colleagues are accustomed to using two "extremely strong" to describe: strong sense of responsibility and strong logical thinking ability. He is also currently the youngest commander in the third bureau of China Construction.
In the past 365 days, Wang Zhaokun has been able to spend less than 10 days with his family. On the evening of September 8 this year, he suddenly "disappeared", and when he appeared in front of everyone the next day with a tired body, colleagues learned that his daughter was born in the early morning of the 9th. But on the evening of the 8th, he still stuck to the construction site until the last moment of his wife's delivery before rushing to the hospital.
For Wang Zhaokun, no problem can be spent overnight, and there is no case file that can be left for the next day. Working overtime until late at night is commonplace, the first line of the charge is his own responsibility, "every day to run the scene to be solid, every day to reflect and summarize in order to harvest", this is his own requirements.
Wang Zhaokun said that the East Lake Greenway will be unveiled today, and he is very relieved to think that in the future, everyone will be able to wander around and enjoy the lake and mountains along the East Lake (reporter Zhang Sheng, correspondent Wang Xuan)
Deputy General Manager of Wuhan Metro Group Construction Business Headquarters, responsible for the construction of the entire line of Wuhan Rail Transit Airport Line
In order to open the subway airport line a year earlier, Wuhan metro people, including Wen Yuchun, have been "five plus two" and "white plus black" for two consecutive years.
Since July 2015, when the shield machine passes through complex formations such as the Fuhe River between Hongtu Avenue Station and Panlongcheng Station and Julong Avenue Station, it has encountered unevenly distributed stones, lone stones, and underground caves. Wen Yuchun, as a management personnel, took the lead in the construction site, led the technical and construction personnel to investigate the underground stones and lone stones, implemented the underground fixed-point blasting and removal, and "cleared mines" for the shield boring. When dealing with the underground caves along the way, he led the construction staff to inject more than 10,000 cubic meters of concrete slurry to solve this technical problem. During the period, Wen Yuchun, who was also in charge of Metro Line 3, Airport Line, Yangluo Line, and Line 1 Jinghe Extension Line, often ran back and forth in the three towns of Wuhan, and was too busy to touch the ground.
Wen Yuchun said that only by suffering more, daring to take responsibility, and going deep into the scene can we control the quality, progress and safety of construction and build the subway into a high-quality project. (Reporter Tan Delei Correspondent Liu Dandan Yuan Yonghua)
Responsible engineer of Zhongshan Avenue Renovation Project of China Construction Third Bureau, responsible for the road row and paving work of Zhongshan Avenue
In May this year, 29-year-old Chen Xiang entered the Zhongshan Avenue renovation project team. For more than half a year, he was most impressed by the asphalt paving in the final stage of the project.
"Near the end, the weather is not good, there are more rainy days, which is a headache for us." Chen Xiang said that asphalt paving has temperature requirements, the temperature is too low, asphalt paving cools down quickly, compaction is not enough, easy to appear quality hazards. During that time, the engineering team read the weather forecast in advance every day, and as soon as it saw that there was good weather, it immediately seized the opportunity to pave the asphalt on the main road.
"There is only one and a half months of paving time, from Jianghan Road to Wusheng Road, 100,000 square meters should be paved, and more than 2,000 square meters should be paved a day." Chen Xiang recalled that in order to make full use of the only sunny day and ensure the quality of the project, the department mobilized all the excellent pavers of the company to Zhongshan Avenue. The paving team of more than 1,000 people works in two shifts 24 hours a day, day and night, and all 15 managers do not sleep for 48 hours. To this end, Chen Xiang did not go home for a month and a half, and ran on both sides of the construction site and dormitory every day. (Reporter Gao Meng)
Assistant project manager of the viaduct of Terminal T3 of Tianhe Airport of China Construction Third Bureau, mainly responsible for project production, coordination and scheduling
In the more than two years since participating in the construction of T3 Terminal of Tianhe Airport, Wang Yanbin was most impressed by the fact that when demolishing some buildings of T1 Terminal, he was afraid of affecting the normal operation of flights, and his nerves were highly tense all day.
Wang Yanbin said that when building the corridor between Terminal 3 and Terminal 2, it was necessary to demolish part of the building of Terminal 1 first. "The engineering wall is only 3 meters from the closest place to the tarmac, and during the demolition process, once the splashed stones and decoration boards fall into the tarmac, it will bring safety hazards to the aircraft." Wang Yanbin said that even the fine dust cannot be rolled into the tarmac, otherwise it will drift into the engine of the aircraft.
Wang Yanbin came up with multiple protection plans: build a 3-meter-high iron mesh wall and a 5-6-meter-high enclosure between the project and the apron; Synchronous dust reduction of large sprinkler trucks; Exposed earth and stone are covered with a green dust film.
Wang Yanbin and more than 100 builders worked meticulously 24 hours a day, and in just three weeks, the 20,000-square-meter terminal was successfully demolished, and it did not affect the operation of flights. The construction period was also a week earlier than expected, saving construction time for the T3 terminal project. (Reporter Yang Sheng Correspondent Yu Lei)
