20211030 interpretation of the "Ancient Literature Guanzhi" of the "Record of the Crane Pavilion"

In the autumn of the tenth year of Xi Ning, Pengcheng was flooded. Yunlongshan people Zhang Junzhi Caotang, water and its half-door. Next spring, the water will fall and move to the east of the former residence and the foothills of the east mountain. Look up, get a different place, and make a pavilion on it.

The mountain of Pengcheng, the four combinations of Gangling, is hidden like a large ring, and it lacks its western side alone, while the pavilion of the mountain people is appropriate for its lack. At the turn of spring and summer, the grass and trees are in the sky; the snow moon in autumn and winter is a thousand miles; between the wind and rain, the pitch is changeable. The mountain people have two cranes, very tamed and good at flying, dan looks at the lack of the western mountains and lets go, indulging in what they are, or standing in the field, or soaring on the clouds; Twilight is the return of the eastern mountains. Hence the name "Crane Pavilion".

Su Shi, the county guard, went from the Bingzuo staff to meet the mountain people, drank and enjoyed himself at the Pavilion. The people of The Mountain told him, "Does the son know the joy of living in seclusion?" Although the king of the south, he cannot be with Yi Ye. Yi said: "The crane is in the yin, and its son is in harmony." The poem says: "The crane sings in Jiugao, and the sound is heard in the sky." 'Cover it as a thing, Qingyuan idle, transcendent beyond the dust, so "Yi" and "Poetry" people are better than sages and gentlemen. A man of hidden virtue should be beneficial and harmless if he were to play with it, but wei Yi gong haohe would perish in his country. Zhou Gong composed "Wine Curse", Wei Wu Gong composed "Suppression of The Precepts", thinking that there was no such thing as a drunkard, and Liu Ling and Ruan's disciples were named after their full truth. Woohoo! The king of the south, although he who is idle in the qingyuan like a crane, is not good, and if he is good, he will perish in his country; and the people of the mountains and forests, although they are as desolate and chaotic as wine, still cannot do harm, but the situation is worse than the crane? From this point of view, it is not happy to speak the same day. The mountain man smiled and said, "Yes! "It is a song of the crane and the crane:

The crane flew to the lack of xixi mountain, soared high and looked down at the xi to choose what was appropriate. Flipping the wings, it is like a collection of xi, suddenly seeing, and re-attacking. Alone in the valley all day long, pecking at the moss and walking on white stone.

The crane returns to Xi, the yin of the Eastern Mountains. Underneath it there are people who are shy, yellow-crowned grass, ge yi and drum piano. Plough and eat, and the rest is full. Returning to Xi, the West Mountain cannot stay for long.

Reading Su Shi's "Record of the Crane Pavilion", I always think of Li Yu and Guo Lin's sigh at him: "It is really a great thing to be a talented person, and the poor man is a king." "The same fate sigh of the person is Song Huizong, his flower and bird paintings have become the artistic treasures sought after by posterity, and his original thin gold body is also difficult to harmonize, so that no one in the future dares to ask for it, and it becomes a masterpiece. Su Shi lamented that the crane was a noble thing, and Wei Yiweng was therefore destroyed; the wine was the drink of chaos, and Ruan Liu left a name. Is the pleasure of the hermit, the pleasure of the world, the pleasure of the world, really "not the same day and the same day"?

Although the article writes about the Crane Pavilion, it begins with the Great Water of Xuzhou. In the tenth year of Xining, that is, in 1077 AD (the Annotation of the Shanghai Ancient Book Edition is 1007, mistakenly), Xuzhou sent a flood, and Zhang Tianji, who lived in seclusion on Yunlong Mountain, was also affected by it, and the water flooded half the height of the gate. In ancient times, most of them were earthen walls, and the place where the hermit lived naturally could not be more solid, and this time the flood should have destroyed Zhang Tianji's residence. Therefore, after the water receded the following year, Zhang Tianji rebuilt the house east of his residence, under the Yunlong, and built a pavilion at the top of the mountain, on the grounds that "looking up and looking, you can get a different place".

Su Shi's article, extremely dashing, as if inadvertently, a few random pen and ink, has been thousands of weather, beautiful. When he wrote about the scenery of Yunlong Mountain, he had this feeling: "At the turn of spring and summer, the grass and trees are in the sky; in autumn and winter, the snow and moon, a thousand miles are colorful". Not only is the text beautiful, but also the artistic conception is vast, and it is unconscious to get up and visit Dai on a snowy night.

I have been to Xuzhou, but unfortunately I have not been able to climb Yunlong Mountain, but I have lingered by Yunlong Lake two or three times, and I have not stayed for a long time. Su Shi first summed it up in the form of a bird's eye view from the air: the mountains surround Xuzhou, as if it were a big ring, and only the west of it left a gap. And Zhang Tianji's pavilion, just at its gap, echoes the above "ascending to the heights and looking out, getting a different place". When I read this, I searched for the impression in my memory: outside the smoke and rain of Yunlong Lake, the reckless Yunlong Mountain stretched endlessly, and the article secretly confirmed that it seemed to be true. When the sky is clear, there is no cloud, when it rains, the clouds rise and fog, with the change of the mountain, the scenery is also uneven, Su Shi said that "between the wind and rain, the pitch is changeable", about this kind of scenery. As for the full moon on the night of snow, climbing the mountain, standing by the railing, there are wine bottles, thousands of miles in front of the country, and the history of thousands of autumns in the heart. The joy of it is only understood, not spoken.

The name of the crane pavilion is derived from the fact that Zhang Tianji has two cranes, which are very well domesticated and good at flying high. In the morning, Zhang Tianji would release cranes in the direction of the gap in the West Mountain, watching them come and go in the clouds, flying with the wind, or standing in the middle of the field. In the evening, the sun sets, the clouds steam, the evening boat sways, and the white crane rides the last wisp of red wind in the sky.

Or it is precisely because of this that Su Shi said to people, "The son knows the joy of living in seclusion, although the king of the south is not easy." "The recluse, even if he gives the position of emperor, does not do it, just like Xu Yu, Yao is ready to give the world to him, but he not only politely refuses, but even thinks that Yao's words have stained his ears and washed his ears on the banks of the Ying water." The crane has always been the mascot of the Chinese, from the Yi Sutra to the Book of Poetry, because it is a qingyuan idle thing, able to transcend the world, and compared to the sage gentleman, especially loved by hermits, it seems beneficial and harmless. However, Su Shi questioned it, saying that Wei Yigong loved cranes so much, but he had perished. Su Shi thought of wine again, and Duke Zhou and Duke Wu of Wei and even Pushed up to Dayu had issued a prohibition on alcohol, believing that "there is no such thing as a drunkard", but Ruan Zhi and Liu Ling were famous for this. From the point of view of being, the joy of the mountains and forests and the joy of the country are indeed not the same.

Although Zhang Tianji is a mountain man, he also has the joy of mortals, and it is of course very happy for him to be able to get the praise of the great talent Su Shi. He took advantage of Su Shi's artistic conception to compose the songs of "Releasing Cranes" and "Recruiting Cranes". Objectively speaking, Zhang Tianji's poetry level is much worse than Su Shi's, and it does not fully express the connotation of Su Shi.

Indeed, the ancients did have many hobbies and misguided the country, and quite a few people were still good, such as Li Yu's words, Song Huizong's calligraphy and paintings, and LiangWu emperor's cultivation of Buddhism. However, all three of them perished as a result. Is it the mistake of the article calligraphy or painting or the Buddha? But so many literati and inkers have been famous for thousands of years. Is it that the emperor can't write and draw? But the words of Emperor Taizong of Tang and the Kangxi Emperor, even in history, are masters. Tang Xuanzong's musical talent and cultural accomplishment are also of historical level. As for ordinary people, it is inevitable that there will be hobbies, but some people have achieved a better life because of this, and some people have ruined their homes and even resorted to unscrupulous means. It can be seen from this that success or failure has nothing to do with love and joy itself.

As the saying goes, in its position, seek its own government, which means that a person will do something in what position. I think it is more appropriate to explain the above things in this way. Wei Yigong was originally the monarch of the country, and his position determined that he should do what the monarch should do, and it was because he used his main energy to raise cranes, and it was strange not to destroy the country. The same is true of Tang Xuanzong, when he used the energy of the main country to seek government in power, so there was a prosperous era of Kaiyuan; when he used his main energy for music, when he did not seek his own government in his position, there was chaos in Anshi. Similarly, the hermit's pleasure is because he did what a hermit should do in the position of a hermit, but if he is a hermit but his heart is in the imperial court, it is inevitable that there will be a "crane in the clouds, flying around and flying to the prime minister".

Man's greatest happiness is content with the present, and the greatest unhappiness comes from dissatisfaction with the present. Secondly, it is not wrong not to be satisfied with the status quo, the pursuit of better is also human instinct, the key is that the trade-off is moral. For example, if you are an official, if you are for the sake of the world, of course, you can't ask for it, and if you can make money, if you can take it and use it for the Tao, even if you earn more, such as Zigong and Fan Li, why should people sneer?
