As the best choice for the current enterprise IT architecture, cloud computing technology has gone through the stage of exploration and practice and ushered in a period of diversified development.
Two new releases, two new upgrades: Tencent Cloud Database provides new products and technical capabilities
Driven by technological upgrading and domestic substitution, domestic databases have gained unprecedented historical opportunities. Li Gang believes that the future database should be: single-engine extreme, multi-engine autonomous integration services. Specifically, the performance is "two-wheel drive of public cloud + private cloud", multi-mode engine, and intelligent control.

Based on this, for the financial government and enterprise scenarios, Tencent Cloud Database has made two new products:
First, the new Oracle compatible engine - born to "O", to meet the financial core rapid launch requirements
This engine has a compatibility of more than 98% in the insurance/operator industry, which can help the industry to achieve localization in a very short period of time and almost zero cost transformation; at the same time, the ultra-high compression ratio of up to 20 times and the ultra-high query performance can greatly save resource costs.
Second, the new sensitive engine - unlimited expansion, online change, adapt to financial sensitivity business
The engine can perfectly solve the unpredictability of business form and business volume in the process of sensitive business development. In this regard, the Online DDL that realizes exabyte-level storage can greatly improve the database throughput during the change of table structure and effectively respond to changes in the business; most importantly, Tencent's unique data form automatic perception feature can enable data to be automatically migrated according to the service load, break hot spots, reduce the proportion of distributed transactions, and obtain extreme scalability and performance.
For the cloud-native database TDSQL-C, Tencent Cloud Database has made a new upgrade: the throughput rate has been increased by 50%, the IO latency has been reduced by 80%, and the overall performance has been improved by 85%, and the new form of Serverless has been brought to further reduce costs through global workflow prediction and dynamic scaling of resources, so as to achieve true on-demand billing.
For the analysis engine TDSQL-A, a new upgrade is ushered in again. The new self-developed column storage engine, coupled with the new intelligent execution engine, has more than 10 times improvement in vector execution performance, and with the industry's unique distributed latency materialization technology, the computational efficiency of correlation queries in distributed scenarios is greatly optimized, which can help customers further tap the value of data.
Creating benchmarking cases will help 1,000 financial institutions to achieve localization of core system databases in the future
Li Gang believes that the scene is an important driver of technological development, and only such products and programs that have been deeply polished are the most needed domestic databases. At the conference site, Li Gang shared the specific practice cases of the Agricultural Bank of China and the Bank of China, which adopted the localization scheme of full-link credit creation, which is an exploration practice to achieve the comprehensive localization of financial IT infrastructure.
In the insurance industry, TDSQL is helping Pacific Insurance Group to localize its comprehensive database. In this project, the Oracle compatibility of TDSQL has been fully verified, with a compatibility of more than 98%, which can help the service to quickly complete the test verification and go online in a very short period of time and with a very small amount of service change. Moreover, TDSQL's multi-form and multi-engine support various business scales and scenarios under CPIC Group.
Tencent's cloud-native database TDSQL-C Serverless has been fully interconnected with the WeChat ecosystem, and the joint development of Mini Program Cloud has created a new form for developers to use the database.
According to Li Gang, the domestic database TDSQL serves up to 60% of the TOP 10 banks and is widely used in the field of financial core systems. Li Gang said that the domestic database is about to enter the stage of large-scale replication, and in the next five years, Tencent Cloud database TDSQL will help 1,000 financial institutions to achieve the localization of core systems.
At the same time, in terms of ecological construction, at the Techoday site, Li Gang announced the launch of TDSQL and the upcoming launch of TDSQL free version, which will implement the TDSQL free version plan through the form of "software + service": the software part, users will provide free download media and corresponding documents through the Tencent Cloud official website; for ordinary developers, it will provide a platform for answering questions and communicating through the official website community.
At the meeting, Li Gang also announced that Tencent and Intel jointly launched the first TDSQL Developer Competition, encouraging developers to achieve technical and business innovation based on TDSQL through development and application practice.
