The main disinfectants commonly used in swimming pools are: disinfectants, flocculants, algae killers and PH regulators.
1. Disinfectant
Disinfectants are divided into bleach powder, sodium hypochlorite, sodium dichloroisocyanurate, trichloroisocyanuric acid, dichlorohydantoin, dibromohydantoin, of which commonly used is bleach powder and sodium hypochlorite.
2. Flocculant
Commonly used flocculants mainly include aluminum chloride, alum, aluminum sulfate and so on.
3. Algae killer
There are many types of algalides, but the commonly used copper sulfate is the mainstay. Copper sulfate, also known as malachite green, beautiful blue particles, basically odorless, after the drug will appear milky white, gradually turn blue, but the number of uses should not be too much.
4. PH regulator
Hydrochloric acid – a colorless, or pale yellow liquid with a pungent odor, is acidic, and is used to neutralize the alkaline nature of water bodies.
Sodium carbonate - also known as soda ash, white powder, is alkaline, used to neutralize water acidity.
Sodium bicarbonate - also known as baking soda, color, properties of sodium carbonate.
Pharmacy necessity
Due to the large number of people in contact with the pool water, the pool water will be contaminated by the bacteria carried by the swimmers themselves, so the water in the pool will contain various types of bacteria. When swimming in the pool, the pool water accidentally enters the mouth of the swimmer or even accidentally drinks the pool water, assuming that the pool water is unhygienic, it will cause discomfort and may also cause diseases, and the serious case will cause typhoid fever, syphilis, red diarrhea and other diseases.
In order to ensure the safety of pool water and protect the health of swimmers, it is essential to equip the pool with the necessary pool water disinfection and sterilization devices and take the necessary pool water treatment agent input.
