Liu Yuedi said that when she learned of Li Zehou's death today, she was driving through Tiananmen Square, "My tears brushed down." When Mr. Li was in good health, he would return to China almost every year, and the last time he returned was on October 16, 2017. Early in the morning, he offered to go for a walk in Beihai Park. Later, he used a light meal at the Jianguomen 'Laochuan Office', and that time Teacher Li had a very good appetite and ate four bowls of Dan dan noodles in a row. Later, he proposed that he wanted to go to Tiananmen Square, and when we drove to Nanchizi immediately, he gave him an interview about China's fate overseas, in which he talked about his vision, and he was very optimistic about China's future. ”
Li Zehou graduated from Hunan Provincial First Normal School in 1948. He graduated from the Department of Philosophy of Peking University in 1954. After the reform and opening up, he made achievements in philosophy, aesthetics and intellectual history. He has published works such as "Criticism of Critical Philosophy", "The Course of Beauty", "Chinese Aesthetics", and "The History of Ancient Chinese, Modern and Modern Thought". The impact is enormous. He moved to the United States in early 1992 and taught at Colorado College. He retired in 1999 and settled in Colorado, USA.
On October 16, 2017, Li Zehou accompanied Liu Yuedi downstream of Beijing Beihai Park.
