This forum coincides with the 80th anniversary of Wu Mei's death, taking the perspective of the transformation of Chinese opera culture in modern times, in-depth investigation of Wu Mei's academic research and various aspects of opera education, and discussing the inheritance of her academic research and the spread of concepts, and the impact on the study of opera, stage practice and opera forms in modern China.

During the forum, on November 9, the event was a Wu Mei Research Workshop, with Wu Mei research as the theme, focusing on Wu Mei and university education, the rediscovery of Wu Mei historical materials, the study of Wu Mei opera and the development trend of modern and contemporary opera.
