But today, the dealers in the market "waited for a lonely". Because as early as a few months ago, this batch of sharp goods was locked in advance with the place of origin by Hema buyers, and all of them were sent to stores across the country through the Hema supply chain.
The reporter learned from Hema that last autumn and winter, the sales of cherries increased by more than 50% year-on-year, and at the same time of "cherries freedom", the domestic market also showed a trend of segmentation and consumption upgrading.
In fact, this year's Chilean cherry season began at the end of October, but so far all the cherries that have arrived are "Brooks". "We found that among the three early varieties of Chilean cherry, 'Royal Dawn' had the best taste, arriving 7-10 days late, but the gravy was sufficient, sweeter and richer, judging from the sales data of previous years, this variety was more popular with Chinese consumers." Hema origin buyer Su Jia said.
It is understood that the first batch of "Royal Dawn" will arrive at Hema stores in Guangzhou-Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Wuhan and other places in 1-2 days. "Due to the scarcity of goods, many areas can only get more than a hundred boxes." Su Jia opened the container to initially check the quality of the cherry, and introduced it to the reporter.
After the air transport, the "big army" of sea freight cars is expected to arrive in late December, and then the high-quality Chilean cherries such as Santina, Bin, and Codia, which have been locked by Hema, will successively arrive at the national "box area room".
According to the Chilean Fruit Exporters Association, Chile exported a total of 352,000 tons of cherries in the 2020/2021 season, of which 91% were exported to China. In Hema, the sales volume of Chilean cherries in this year increased by more than 50% year-on-year.
According to the relevant person in charge of Hema, this year there are nearly 100 kinds of imported fruits from more than 20 countries and regions on the box horse shelf, durian, coconut green, dragon fruit, etc. are sold throughout the year.
