The 2021 Image Shanghai Art Fair, jointly presented by the World Photography Organization and Porsche, and co-organized by Branding Shanghai, will return to the Shanghai Exhibition Center from November 03-06 this year. Bringing together more than 50 participating galleries, institutions and publishers at home and abroad, the fair is committed to further excavating, supporting and enhancing local forces from China's video art community, demonstrating the breadth and diversity of their creativity. In addition, the expo also cooperated with a number of partners to present a number of theme exhibitions with both interesting and research value, telling you that "the image is not just a photo".
In this expo, a number of outstanding galleries that have participated in the exhibition over the years have all returned, including: Deyutang Gallery (Shanghai), ShanghART Gallery (Shanghai, Beijing, Singapore), see+ Gallery (Beijing, Shenzhen), Three Shadows +3 Gallery (Beijing, Xiamen), M Art Space (Shanghai), Taijixuan Gallery (Beijing), etc.; including Magic Stone Space (Beijing), West Gallery (Lanzhou), May Park Gallery (Chengdu), SeeIng Gallery (Beijing), Xie Gallery (Changsha) and other powerful galleries that debuted at the expo. At the same time, this expo has set up a new "SOLO", "Shadow Screening" and "Publishing", trying to reflect the development trend of the video art world from multiple dimensions.
The SOLO section will focus on the artist's individual project. Among them, HdM Gallery (Beijing, London) will present Hu Weiyi's new work "The Dust Now Sucked In Was Once a House", which explains the fascination with harm and disappearance, as well as the concern for social reality and urban landscape. With the theme of "Re", the film section looks forward to exploring how human beings are facing various difficulties, challenges and even new situations in the post-epidemic era. "Re" is both an action and a question: how the world should restart its connections and dialogues, and how it can renew and build on the present. Thus, the theme of "Re" itself represents regression, reflection, change and innovation. The [Publications] section aims to display the results of art books and their publications in the video art world, and further promote the development of this field. We believe that in an age where screens are ubiquitous, reaffirming the simplicity of paper books and continuing to give their voice is not only a meaningful thing, but also a more necessary thing.
In order to more effectively support the frontier and experimental nature of video art, and also to introduce different art media and broaden the boundaries of video art, the fair plans and sets up public projects. At this expo, "present" and "future" have undoubtedly become a set of keywords. The [Focus] section focuses on Hu Jieming, a representative artist in new media and video installations, and presents his recent new work "Grid Objects" series. This series began in early 2020 during the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, and the shutdown of the operation of the global society prompted Hu Jieming to begin an exploration of daily "grid and material knowledge". In terms of presentation, "Lattice Objects" presents a "low-tech" quality, and the artist said: "I am increasingly aware that it is dangerous to pursue too much technology in artistic creation... With the advancement of science and technology, we have more and more room for choice in artistic creation, but we must not forget what kind of thing we do. ”

This year's West Bund Expo welcomed nearly 50 outstanding galleries from home and abroad, focusing on a selection of masterpieces spanning painting, sculpture, installation, video, performing arts and other forms since the beginning of the 20th century, presenting the artistic charm of multiculturalism in an all-round way. Founded in 2014, West Bund Art & Design Has become one of the largest and most influential art fairs in Asia. There are always women who, undetermined by tradition and not bound by everyday life, are brave, wise, positive, willing to discover differences in life and create a sustainable world that we have not been able to imagine. Based on this, LOHAS hosted the Green Women Power 100 Sustainable Women 100 Special Exhibition to take us to a sustainable world with their stories.
In their world, sustainability can be about people and the economy, people and nature, people and the environment, and more likely about people and people; sustainability can be that everyone does their part, gets what they want, makes the material richer, or follows the relevant criteria to make the living environment better; even in their eyes, even art itself has a certain degree of sustainability, allowing the audience to perceive and pay attention to nature from art, thus affecting action. Of course, there is much more to "sustainability", and the nine guests did not hesitate to inspire the audience to rethink through their sustainable experiences and stories through their different positions, different occupations, and different voices they heard.
Each of their issues shows that sustainable development is becoming a growing consensus: the ideal new life of the future cannot be separated from the category of "sustainable". When discussing how to get to "sustainable", their advice is: start with changing the small things of daily life, start with changing attitudes, replace the use of disposable products with sustainable products, and so on. Of course, this beautiful expectation is not limited to their personal efforts, we hope that more gentle and continuous female forces in the world can come together to complete this mission of sustainability.
In the future, GWP100 will open a touring exhibition of GWP100 special exhibitions across the country to bring 100 sustainable women's stories offline. Through the presentation of some women's representative works and the form of GWP100 offline sharing meeting, the audience can intuitively see how sustainability directly acts on daily life, and through this series of sharing, everyone can think about and reshape the new world based on the present and the future.

Recently, the 10th AArt Shanghai City Art Fair will be held at HUALUXE Hotel, No. 12 Hengshan Road, Shanghai. AArt adheres to the hotel-type exhibition mode, with the guest room as the display unit, placing art in a more life-like scene and creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for communication. This is also the fourth time that Shanghai Collaborative Innovation Center for Public Art (PACC) has participated in the AArt Shanghai City Art Fair.
Presented by forty galleries and art institutions from home and abroad, the exhibition presents more than 2,000 works of art, turning the hotel rooms into their own bizarre world of color. As the first international-oriented hotel-type art fair in China, AArt takes the name of the city and takes "art and life dialogue" as its purpose, and is the most representative expo brand in the domestic mass art consumer goods category. PACC exhibited warm woodcuts from Uruguay, Carlos's "Mother and Child Cow", "Mother and Child Sheep", "Golden Monkey", ancient felt brought by Australian creative fabric artist Lucyna Opala, leather custom bags brought by PACC co-designer He Ran, bamboo silk buckle porcelain by Yang Changqin, the inheritor of Chishui bamboo weaving, and Kaleidoscope series by PACC designer Li Yiman.
At the same time, the 2021 Shanghai Urban Space Art Season recently kicked off. As one of the participating sample communities of the 4th Shanghai Urban Space Art Season in 2021, we will strive to enhance the artistic atmosphere of the "smallest urban module" community public space with the opportunity of art exhibition. 17 groups of public art works have been placed in the community, these works from different artists, closely following the theme of "This Moment • Beautiful Linfen", showing the construction of community living circles in different forms such as sculpture, illustration, photography, art installations, etc., in order to build a kind of value recognition and regeneration with temperature, form a living public space with temperature, and let art enter the community and enter people's lives.

It has opened up new forms for the public art presentation of the community, and has also given the physical phenomenon of Morie ripples a new vitality in the field of art, and this pattern shape similar to the mandala form will give the community audience a unique feeling of healing when watching.
Nature is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists and designers, "Fu Liezi walks against the wind, and is good at it", listening to the wind and the royal wind is the romance of it. Under the reflection of the mirror, we can also faintly see the new scene of the Linfen community reflected in the mirror works, allowing the viewer to re-examine this place of daily life from the mirror. Artists Li Xuchen and Zhang Peiyan went to "catch the wind and catch the shadow" through the stainless steel works of "URBAN FOREST OF US". The design of the pneumatic light turning device is not only perpetual motion and energy saving and environmental protection, the visual can be greatly satisfied, this work uses mirror stainless steel as the main material, the irregular shape at the upper end, symbolizing the elusive uncertainty of wind and light in nature, with the rotation of the upper blade, listen to the wind, feel the soothing of the wind, and trace the shadow of the wind.
