Once upon a time in a certain month of a certain year, I clicked on the Korean drama "Signal Signal". I have always heard praise for this drama from friends, and even I have found a lot of drama reviews on the Internet to read, but I am still timid at the moment of clicking on, because at that point in time, I did not like Li Dixun.

Later, I also found in the play "Move to Heaven: I Am a Relic Finisher" that Li Dixun used a more lazy and uninhibited voice in the play to express the character "Cao Shangjiu"'s dislike of the world and disappointment in himself that he did not dare to admit. Because I stumbled upon this sound processing method, I also used this method to trace back to Li Dixun's other works.
For example, in the 2011 film "Introduction to Architecture", in order to show the joy and youth of the college pure love boys, Lee DiXun's tone is obviously a little higher than that used by Kim Dodge, because that kind of happiness and fearlessness can be clearly expressed in that voice.

A year earlier, it was Lee Di-hoon's first starring role in a feature-length film, "That Night, Youth Faded". In this film, his voices switch to each other, and the higher the volume to represent the inner uneasiness, because he can't understand the other person's thoughts from his own perspective; the lower voice indicates his strong composure, because he wants to dominate the whole thing and does not want everything that seems to be intact to collapse.
In addition to this use of voice, the themes explored in this film have even become one of Li Dixun's works, my favorite.

Ji Tai, played by Li Dixun, has always used violence to bring people to his side. He only has his father, but he rarely meets his father, and when no one can teach him how to get along with people and how to communicate with love, he just uses the way he found and understood to realize the dream of "making friends". It is a super simple thing for others, but it has become the biggest problem in life in front of him.
So when he lost the two people around him who he considered close friends in a row, his world returned to loneliness. He didn't know that the method he was using was wrong, maybe he couldn't even understand what the mistake was, so when he sat in the dim classroom, only the silhouette was in the mirror, or the moment he stood on the balcony, it was the most vivid expression of the tragic situation of being crushed to the last straw. Is Kitay wrong? Yes, but his perception is only the will he can rely on the most.
After watching this movie, I suddenly wondered, if I had the opportunity to see "That Night, Youth Fades" in that certain year and month at that time, maybe I would not have dragged the prejudice and misunderstanding of Li Dixun to this year.

After watching the movie and studying the sound, I then went back to a few interviews with Li Dixun to make up for my ignorant self's unwarranted dislike. In interviews, he mentioned many times that he was often said to be related to the words "Grandpa (할배)" and "Boring (노잼)" because fans felt that he was too sincere and long-winded every time he answered questions.
However, I have another feeling about such a statement. No matter what the host asks Li Dixun to do, he will actually do it, and when asked a question, he will think about it and give an answer. Just like when he was asked about his alcohol intake, he confessed that he had a hangover problem the next day after drinking, so the next day would be ruined; or when asked what he would do when he was not filming at leisure, he also answered honestly, if he could, he would travel, but because he could not go because of the epidemic in the past two years, he returned to the daily routine of going to the cinema to watch movies in his spare time.
Li Dixun, who likes to watch movies, also feels that movies can bring him great motivation, because when he wants to rest and breathe, as long as he is infected by the nutrients of excellent movies, he can once again mention the spirit of struggle. Because of this, the ideal type of big boy with such a bit of pure love is a soulmate (soul mate) who has the same movie and musical perception as him.

Most recently, he was asked what kind of objects he wanted to leave in this world after his death, and Li Dixun replied that he wanted to leave behind works that he could revisit.
