"Mission Impossible" is adapted from the 1968 American drama "Tiger's Trick".
The protagonist is a "spy", when performing a mission, the protagonist will receive a mission "disc", and named "Mission Impossible".
The original game, "Tiger Guts", was directed by a bald old man who led four or five agents on a series of impossible missions.
Mission Impossible 1 was a subversive adaptation: all the agents were "killed", leaving only Ethan, played by Tom Cruise.
Mission Impossible 1 was a huge success.
In 2000, the second film was made, and director Wu Yusen emphasized the personal heroism of "Ethan" under the tone of violent aesthetics.
Everything from polar rock climbing to motorcycling shootouts.
Although the film received the highest box office in the world of 540 million that year, reviews generally believed that the visuals were first-class, the plot was mediocre, and less emotional.
So in 2006's "Mission Impossible 3", the script also made up the bridge section of "Ethan" getting married, in order to portray Ethan as a flesh-and-blood agent.
But the $150 million film only grossed $397 million worldwide, much lower than Disc 2.
The audience did not buy Ethan's emotions, and the outside world generally believed that the "Mission Impossible" series had come to an end.
Tom Cruise didn't want to act much either. He is not only a star, but also an investor in movies.
If you look closely, you'll find that 2011's Mission Impossible 4 is a complete "pondered" story.
Ethan went through marriage, divorce, and a handover process with one of the agents, Hawkeye, after all the missions were completed.
Originally, I wanted the next "Mission Impossible" series to naturally let "Hawkeye" take the position and become the first starring actor.
But what I didn't expect was that this "Mission Impossible 4" turned the tide, broke the reputation of the first two films, and got nearly 700 million box office worldwide.
What is the charm of this Mission Impossible 4? How is it better than the first three?
<h1 class="pgc-h-center-line">01</h1>
First, there is the director.
The director of Mission Impossible 4 is Brad Bird.
He is an animation director whose representative works are "The Incredibles" and "Food Story".
This is Brad Bird's first time directing a live-action film.
He gave Mission Impossible 4 the wonderful imagination.
The mission in this episode is so cool.
Ethan escaped from prison, then went to the Kremlin Palace to steal documents, climbed tall buildings in Dubai, and finally drove a BMW from 100 meters to the vertical fall intact.
Obviously, BMW is paying.
This episode features the unexpected.
In the face of such a secret agent drama, the audience knows: Ethan will never die, Ethan will definitely win.
So the audience will not be too nervous when watching, what to do?
The director used a completely unexpected bridge.
You would never have imagined that there would be an explosion at Kremlin Palace.
You would never imagine Ethan talking to his boss in the car, and all of a sudden the boss was killed and the car fell into the water.
You would never have guessed that the missile had been successfully launched and could still be intercepted.
The director creates "unexpected" and surprise in the film, increasing the tension of the audience – you don't know what will happen in the next second?
The audience is addicted to watching it.

Next, there's the team.
The original "Tiger's Guts" is characterized by full cooperation, and the agents of a team have their own characteristics and complete the task under the guidance of the white-haired old man "military master".
The first three installments of Mission Impossible emphasize Ethan's personal heroism.
Mission Impossible 4 corrected itself, with the other agents in the show also being the protagonists, and most of Ethan's scenes are with the agents.
Bangui and Ethan use a barrier in the Kremlin to conceal security;
Hawkeye and Ethan escape underwater;
The team of agents plays the bad guy in the double room of the Dubai Building, steals the day and changes the day, and completes the transaction;
Beauty tricks the local tycoons into saying the password;
Even the final battle, with the full cooperation of all the agents, made the missile unable to explode.
The film emphasizes relying on "scheming" and "teamwork" to accomplish tasks.
Different agents together, adding a special humorous comedy effect, make the movie more beautiful.
At the same time, "Mission Impossible 4" is also the only movie to cut ethan's emotional drama.
In this movie, Ethan doesn't have time to fall in love or fall in love, and there's a reason for that—
Originally, this movie was intended as the final chapter of Ethan, allowing Hawkeye to take over Ethan's position to continue to act in the following series, so ethan's emotional drama was not arranged.
There is no emotional drama, using action drama and plot to make up, but it has achieved the strongest "Mission Impossible" chapter.

In addition, the film has some interesting tidbits.
In 2012, the 100th anniversary of Paramount Corporation, the paramount 100 was used for the first time at the beginning of the film.
Brent was once seen as Ethan's successor, and when he first chose an actor,
Anthony McKay (Avengers 4)
Christopher Eggen (Masterpiece "Evaporation on Earth")
Kevin Siggers (Vampire)
Chris Pine (Star Trek)
Tom Hardy (Venom)
They were all considered and eventually chose Hawkeye.
In the previous three parts, there are classic scenes similar to "air suspension balance", this one is completed by "Hawkeye",
At the end, Ethan convinces Hawkeye to join and walks into the fog alone.
Confirming once again that this could have been Ethan's closing performance.
The most admirable is Tom Cruise.
In 2011, he was 49 years old, hanging a few steel wires, and climbed the 812-meter Burj Khalifa (he was climbing and shooting at a height of about 518 meters).
For this scene, the crew built a huge glass wall,
Tom Cruise spent months practicing how to climb on glass and maintain endurance.
After finishing the shoot, Tom Cruise also took a photo at the top of the Burj Khalifa.
There is a mission code code in the play: 07362, and Tom Cruise's birthday is July 3, 1962.
<h1 class="pgc-h-center-line" > conclusion:</h1>
It was precisely because of Tom Cruise's "desperate performance" that saved the "Mission Impossible" series, and the fifth and sixth films since then have continued to climb in word-of-mouth and box office.
The seventh part will be released in November 2021, and the eighth part will go into production.
All this is due to the incredible reversal of "Mission Impossible 4" 9 years ago. It has the greatest significance for the entire series.
Whether it is tension, excitement or grandeur, it is unmatched by the first 3 films, and "Mission Impossible 4" deserves to be the pinnacle of the series.
