Culture leads
Ten miles on the boat,
Look closely at the black eaves and green tiles,
Listen carefully to the sound of the bridge,
Breathe in the fragrant aroma of tea,
A picture of a quaint life
Reopened in Xiafang Village.
This former Fengjing town Xiafang Village, which was prosperous because of the water
Later, due to the development of land transportation, it gradually declined,
And now,
It is being revitalized in its own way.
"Our secret is to let rural culture become the 'soul' of rural revitalization, and let college students inject impetus into rural revitalization." Jiang Shijun, general secretary of the party branch of Xiafang Village in Fengjing Town, Jinshan, is full of confidence in this. Over the past few months, a group of college students from the Yangtze River Delta have conducted field research, communicated with villagers, combined with local customs and customs, carefully designed and arranged, used paintings to make the original monotonous and boring walls become vivid, used sculptures to tell the legends in the village, and used art to give new vitality to the old village.
In 2019, when the first batch of college students participating in the "I Plant Landscape for the Countryside" Yangtze River Delta Youth Rural Revitalization Design Competition appeared in the village, "Is the design made by a group of little dolls really OK?" Can their ideas bring value to rural revitalization? "Jiang Shijun will be suspicious. After two consecutive sessions, he found that "the student team went deep into the village to discuss with the villagers, jointly designed the plan, and also proposed new ideas in line with the future development of the countryside and transformed the local business format." As a batch of design plans have been implemented in the surrounding villages, the vitality and creativity of the university students have refreshed Jiang Shijun's views, and he decided to introduce the wind of art to Xiafang Village to let culture nourish this fertile field.
"Legend has it that Xia Yu ruled the water and set up a ferry here, so it was called Xia Yudu, and later called XiafangDu in a harmonic tone." Jiang Shijun told the college students about the culture of the village, "Our village also has a unique tea base in Shanghai, planting more than 20,000 tea trees. "The legend of Fengjing has shocked the vision of college students, stimulated their brainstorming, and different transformation plans have been released." The creativity and artistic expression of the college students surprised us, and in the end we selected one of the works, and further combined the village situation, and fully polished with the students and instructors to form a transformation plan. ”
The whole program takes Xia Yuzhi water as the cultural core. "He (Dayu) braved the wind and rain, waded through mountains and waters, was a pioneer, always struggled in the front line of water control, was a hero who worked for the welfare of the people in a down-to-earth manner, and was an example for all party members and cadres in our village. At the same time, he has chestnut-like calluses on the soles of his hands and feet, and his rustic appearance is the same as that of our villagers. "The plan tells the story of Xia Yu's water control in the village through different display methods such as text, painting, and installation of walls, inheriting the spirit of Xia Yu's water control, and the transformation process has become the best practice of practicing the spirit of Xia Yu's water control."
Type, line, color, the village's ordinary white wall is depicted as a beautiful picture of legendary culture, food culture, for more than a month, the inconspicuous laundry table in front of every household, manhole cover has become the best drawing board, the corner where construction waste is stacked has become a photo punch point...
The transformation of the village is in full swing, but when the transformation begins to touch the villagers' houses and vegetable fields, as expected, the simple villagers said: do not understand, do not believe, and are not interested... "The villagers are more receptive to seeing things that are believed, and more concerned about the practical effect." Jiang Shijun said.
"There must be one or two real transformation results to change the villagers' views." After tea and dinner, the villagers used to go from house to house and chat with their neighbors about home cooking. "It is better to build a garden first, so that the villagers have a good place to drink tea and chat." When all is said and done, a vacant lot in the village is used first, planting lawns, paving stone steps, placing stone tables and stone benches, and the garden that has begun to take shape has quietly changed the villagers' views, and the resistance to the transformation has been much smaller. "First put on a stake, then put on a hemp rope and fence it, plant this piece of vegetables, and plant another fruit tree there." Villager Xu Laobo told the story of the transformation of the "Little Three Gardens", while planning the situation after the transformation. "Originally, my family's vegetable field was relatively low, but now the soil is filled high, and the stone road has been built in the middle, and the water ditch has been dug, and it is more convenient to plant vegetables and water flowers." And the vegetable field in front of everyone's door is uniformly transformed, and it will definitely look good in the future. ”
Empowered by art and led by culture, the former Xiafang Village has been transformed into a new tourist landmark that integrates leisure, vacation, and experience nature. It is adjacent to "Legoland" in the north and "Fengjing Ancient Town" in the west, taking the characteristic culture of the village as the core, becoming the main node on the golden tourism route of Fengjing tourism, and radiating more surging vitality with a new attitude.
