Gasoline is purchased from other provinces and tanker trucks are used as a tool to store and sell gasoline, and then sold to nearby ride-hailing and taxi owners at lower prices than the market. Recently, the Jinshan police successfully destroyed an illegal gasoline gang, arrested 12 criminal suspects, and the amount involved reached more than 10 million yuan.

A few days ago, the Jinshan Public Security Bureau learned a clue about the illegal operation of gasoline in the city through the investigation detachment through the expansion of a case of illegal operation. Through research and judgment, the police quickly identified an illegal criminal gang headed by Yang Mou, and carried out a centralized network collection operation on the evening of October 6.
At the scene, the Jinshan police arrested a total of 12 criminal suspects such as Yang Mou and Fan Mou, destroyed 1 illegal oil storage point, 6 black refueling dens, and seized 10 refueling trucks and other criminal vehicles and more than 40 tons of gasoline.
Zhang Xiaowei, a police officer of the Investigation Detachment of the Jinshan Public Security Bureau:
They had a modified car with the seats removed and an oil tank in it. Fueling vehicles with oil pumps is particularly dangerous. Because there were no safety measures at the scene, there were nothing for fire extinguishers.
After review, Yang and others have purchased gasoline from Shandong at a low price since the end of 2019 without the qualification of transportation and sales of dangerous chemicals, and then transferred it to Shanghai for illegal sales and profit from it.
At present, 12 people, including criminal suspect Yang Mou, have been taken criminal compulsory measures by the police in accordance with the law for suspected illegal business operations. The case is under further consideration.
