Yesterday Anthony Davis scored an impressive 16 points, a double-double with 13 rebounds to help the Los Angeles Lakers achieve back-to-back victories after the Houston Rockets' losses. It was a full-fledged effort by the whole team, but in his opinion, Davis believed there was a key factor that led to the win.

According to Davis, it all comes down to the Lakers' proper communication on the court:
Davis said through Dan Walker of the Los Angeles Times: "We had a great communication tonight. Our plan, we followed exactly our plan tonight. Pushing the team to 85 points except for the last quarter, we did a very, very good job, so we can only work as a whole and do what we should do. But tonight our defensive communication was very well put in place, which helped us in a lot of reports that you might have trouble with. ”
The Lakers kept their opponents' points at 15 in the first quarter, and the Rockets scored 20 points in the second quarter. Davis and his teammates showed their defensive prowess in front of the young and inexperienced Rockets, which also earned the Lakers their fourth win of the season.
As Davis pointed out, the Lakers were once again in trouble after letting the Rockets get close to their opponents in their final game. Houston scored 31-20 in the fourth quarter, but the Lakers ultimately won 95-85. At this point, it's clear that Los Angeles is by no means smooth sailing.
The wait for Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors is coming to an end. The Lakers' center picked by rookie James Wiseman with the second pick in 2020 is ready to return to the court.
Wiseman's rookie season was shortened last year by a meniscus injury, and he hasn't played with the Warriors or the Warriors since. Now, that partial recovery is over, he was approved to start training on Monday. He can now do anything but pitch live.
Wiseman told the Warriors reporter: "I feel more comfortable because I had more experience last year... I wasn't confused. I feel like I know what I'm doing. This year is better because what I learned from last year can be carried over to the second year and continue to develop on that basis. ”
James Wiseman will be in a more comfortable position on the Warriors' 2021-22 lineup. He doesn't need to score as much as the Warriors did last year. This year he should be able to focus on what he does best and improve in areas he's struggling with.
During his rookie season, Wiseman averaged 11.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and nearly one block per game. If he can adapt more to his role this season, those numbers could rise dramatically. It will be his second season, which pretty much guarantees his progress.
Wiseman may spend some time developing league teams in the Warriors to improve his representation. He's excited to have that opportunity because he's excited to be able to fully recover and help his Warriors teammates.
