Some of the volunteers took a group photo
On October 23, Hohhot reported a locally confirmed case of COVID-19. At 22:34 that night, a message popped up in the mobile phone work group of Liu Xin, a member of the Shangri-La Community Grid: All community workers improved the resident information overnight to prepare for the nucleic acid test of all employees the next day.
Rushed to the frontline of the fight against the epidemic in the early morning
Liu Xin, who received the notice, was sleepless, and she calculated that she should have been responsible for the work related to the 630 owners of the Elion East Community, but her colleague who was also a grid member of the community had just been seconded to the isolation hotel, that is, she would be responsible for the information statistics and coordination of the 1260 owners the next day. Liu Xin, who has just been working for less than a year, is the first time to be responsible for such a "big thing" as nucleic acid testing, and it is also the first time to participate in the frontline work of the fight against the epidemic.
Before going to bed, she turned the volume of her mobile phone to the maximum, did not dare to sleep soundly, and was ready to call at any time. At 3:24 a.m. on the 24th, the work group sent news again: at 8 o'clock to the unit, organize all residents in the jurisdiction to do nucleic acid. At 4:17 a.m., a message came from the working group informing all personnel to arrive at their posts at 7:30 a.m. At 4:50, Liu Xin got up.
"I live in the new city, and I'm afraid that the community can't be sealed, so I want to go out early." Liu Xin prepared the charging treasure, down jacket and other items and went out.
Volunteers rushed to work overnight
Early in the morning the "battle" began
At about 6 o'clock, Liu Xin arrived at the unit, and the "battle" began.
I thought there would be training, but due to the urgency of the situation, everyone was too busy to take care of anything. Liu Xin came to the community, began to coordinate the property to move tables and chairs, and arranged a testing table in the east and west areas; docked with the owner, notified to do nucleic acid testing; docked with medical workers to take reagents; maintained order, and ensured that the queue maintained a distance of one meter line... On October 26, Liu Xin recalled the scene of the day, and the impression was one word, "chaos"! If I had to put it in another word, it would be "ignorance."
Because it is a sudden closure of the community, many owners have to go out, there are doctors, some send children to study classes, the security guards can not do the explanation work, can only call Liu Xin. Liu Xin ran from the scene to the door of the community, answered the owner's "100,000 whys" one by one, and did a good job of appeasing.
At 9 o'clock, the community released the relevant information about the recruitment of volunteers through the community party member group, and after the recruitment information was issued, many party members and comrades signed up for the first time.
55-year-old Zhao Fenghong is a retired soldier, who participated in volunteer activities during the epidemic last year, has a wealth of experience, she took the initiative to put on protective clothing as an information collection personnel for this nucleic acid test; 40-year-old Zhou Cuiru is already the mother of two babies, after receiving the notice, she also signed up for the first time, put on protective clothing and rushed to the front line; Wang Xiaojuan, who lives in the family hospital of Shida University, is also the owner of the community, after she saw the recruitment information, she sent the 7-year-old child to her grandmother's house and ran back to the community to participate in the "battle" Zhang Mengbing, 44, threw down her young baby and also stood up... Looking at the volunteers full of enthusiasm, Liu Xin's heart was warm. Among the volunteers, there are young party members in their 20s, old party members who have recently retired, and husband and wife party members. With the addition of volunteers, the work on the spot suddenly went smoothly.
Efforts were made to calm the mood of the residents
Just when everything was on the right track, I received bad news: the nucleic acid detection reagent was gone. Looking at the residents queuing at the scene, Liu Xin was more anxious than anyone. She ran to the health service station to inquire about the situation, and the reply was "wait". By this time, the residents in line were already dissatisfied.
Scan the code before nucleic acid testing
"I can understand everyone's feelings, this is not what residents should bear, but all we can do is to do a good job of explaining." Liu Xin told reporters that she waited for the reagent at about 11 o'clock, but because many communities were in a hurry to use it, she could only queue up to collect it, and when it was her turn, she only received the dosage of 300 people.
At about 12 o'clock, she returned to the community with a nervous mood. After the owners knew the situation, they all wanted to do it early, so there were some small quarrels during the period. Under her repeated explanations, most residents expressed understanding. The 300 reagents were done quickly. In desperation, Liu Xin had to notify the residents to go home first and wait for the notification, while she and the volunteers continued to wait at the scene.
At about 14:00, she and the volunteers ate lunch. Unsure when the reagents will arrive, they stand by and wait for hours. In the evening, the weather became cold, and they wanted to open a room in the hotel next to them to wait, but they were told that they could not open the room without a negative nucleic acid test certificate, but they could rest in the lobby of the hotel. In this way, they waited until about 23:00 in the evening, and finally waited for the news that the reagents were in place.
There are so many warm things
"Get started!" Liu Xin and the volunteers returned to the community again, because it was too late and the weather was cold, Liu Xin was afraid that the residents would not see the notification information when they fell asleep, and they were afraid that they would come down to line up and freeze, so she decided to pinch the time to knock on the door door to tell everyone to go downstairs to ensure that the waiting time of each person being tested did not exceed 20 minutes.
The volunteers are also very powerful, with their cooperation, the nucleic acid test officially began at 2:00 a.m. on the 25th.
"I was really touched that the volunteers worked all night without complaining." Liu Xin told reporters that there were too many warm things that night. At about 3:00 a.m., the tenants of the community, Yu Fan, Yang Liuwei and Wang Jiafu, came down to do nucleic acid testing. Seeing that the staff who have not rested are still tirelessly guiding and explaining for everyone, they are very moved, and take the initiative to ask to stay, to help knock on the door and call people; then, 9 people "girlfriend group" also stayed, consciously divided into 3 groups, to knock on the door to call people; in order to let the children and the elderly go home early after the test, the residents in the queue are willing to give up their positions, silently go to the back of the line to continue waiting...
Truly understand what it means to be united in purpose
Nucleic acid testing is carried out in such an orderly manner, and before you know it, it is already early in the morning. After all night of hard work, tired and cold, all the staff are constantly challenging the limits of the body, and the hands of the volunteers responsible for registering information have been frozen to the call. At this time, enthusiastic citizens sent them hot water, milk, boiled eggs, warm babies and other items, the bakery opposite the community sent them bread, citizens took the initiative to help print the form, the owner of the downstairs walking the bend kept saying "thank you" and "hard work", and the children wrote thank-you letters... This heart-warming scene made Liu Xin feel like crying.
"This experience made me really understand what is 'unity of purpose', everyone thinks together, and strives to make a piece." Although tired, but the joy is real, the pride is real, the touch is also real. The nucleic acid test finally ended at 18:00 on the 25th, and Liu Xin began to deal with various chores and coordinate various things. By the time Liu Xin returned home, it was already 23 o'clock. Lying on the bed, she felt her heart beat faster, her chest and back began to sweat continuously, and her eyelids could not be opened, but her brain was still extremely excited, and the scene of "fighting" on the front line of the fight against the epidemic was constantly flashing in her mind...
