The flying fish in the water is red and bright, living itself as a light, illuminating both oneself and others

When he was young, he was red in the money

I read her story a few years ago, and it was this picture at the time.

That's right, her lower limbs are wrapped in a basketball, and a pair of small hands clutch the special "wooden pad" and move forward step by step. This is the true story of Qian Hongyan, who was born in December 1996 in Zhuangshang Village, Majie Town, Luliang County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province, to an ordinary peasant family and is known as the "Basketball Girl".

When I complained that the shoes were not good, I found that someone did not have feet. When I saw this photo, I burst into tears in an instant; I was moved not only because her story was too tragic, but also because she could still laugh at her optimistic attitude towards life after suffering misfortune, which made me ashamed of myself.

Whenever we encounter difficulties, people habitually take the little misfortune that fate has imposed on us and chew it repeatedly, complaining that this is not good or that is not good, and always feeling that everything is good for others, only their own life is not good. But when you compare yourself with this little girl, what is the little difficulty we encounter?

The family is extremely poor, the world is cynical, and life is miserable, any one of which can make an adult collapse in an instant. But none of these can consume her ambition, but let her set up a lofty ambition, more clear about what she wants in the future, what kind of life she wants to live. She has no feet and is struggling, so she can crawl with her hands! No matter how hard and tired you are, you have to live well, suffer in despair, and hold on to death in tears.

Imagine how much sin a person has to suffer if he loses his legs at the age of four? When the tears are gone, what remains should be strong, because there is no choice but to be strong.

However, there is no empathy in the world, and we can never appreciate how cruel the pain and pressure from the body and mind can be to a little girl! What the years have left her is endless heartache, but she grits her teeth and faces everything, as if she has forgotten the pain of the past and only knows the happiness of the present. Her face did not have the slightest vicissitudes, but was full of sweet smiles. All this made her look so generous, so innocent and beautiful, so chuchu and moving, like a fairy falling into the mortal world.

For those who never give up, when God closes this door, he will surely open another door for you. Qian Hongyan's deeds touched people and received assistance from all walks of life. In 2007, with the support of the local disabled persons' federation, Qian Hongyan received the help of Zhang Honghu, a swimming coach for the disabled, in Kunming and stepped into the pool. She obediently did so, cherishing this hard-won opportunity; 100 sit-ups a day, 10,000 meters swimming distance, and practicing every action to the extreme.

After several years of indomitable training, hard work, and more efforts than ordinary people, Qian Hongyan finally became a professional swimmer and won 1 gold and 2 silver in the 2009 National Paralympic Swimming Championships, which is gratifying!

Now when we see her report again, it is Qian Hongyan who won the bronze medal in the women's 100m backstroke in swimming at the 11th National Paralympic Games and the 8th Special Olympics on October 26, 2021, and her participation in the work. We had never met, and she never knew me, but that didn't affect my admiration for her and I was proud of what she had achieved.

The suffering of the world never seems to stop, and to overcome misfortune, all we can do is to do our best to face the difficulties, and there is no better way. Only by not complaining can we gradually cultivate an indomitable heart; only by not being pessimistic can we actively find ways to overcome difficulties; only by not thinking about it can we meet people who are willing to help us.

The former "basketball girl" has now transformed into a "flying fish in the water", behind which is the inexhaustible sweat and indelible faith in the heart. She lives herself as a light, illuminating herself and others, which is all praised and moved.

She is an ordinary but not ordinary post-95 girl, but also an angel who never bows to fate, and is a good example for us to learn.
