Since the 1970s, Chengdu photographer You Zhijian has used the camera in his hand to record the well culture and street life in Chengdu that he has seen.
These black-and-white photos retain the vanished past in Chengdu's well culture in an objective and straightforward way, preserve the common memory of the old Chengdu people for Chengdu, and witness the historical changes of the old Chengdu. These precious black-and-white images show the photographer's understanding and love for the old Chengdu.
